After informing Dr Kintobor and Professor Pickle about the fifth Chaos emerald being restored, Chip went to play with the other Mobians and the Chao in the area, and the little chihuahua fairy like creature was having a lot of fun. Right now, Chip was playing hide and seek, and Chip was the seeker, searching for the others. Chip: "Hmm... I wonder where they are..." said Chip, before he managed to find the Chao who went to hug Chip, happy to see him. Sticks was the only one who knew what the Chao were saying, yet she didn't understand something that the Chao were talking about. Cream: "Mr Chip is really fun to have, and the Chao really love him." Sticks: "They seemed to like calling him..." before Sticks could finish what she was saying however, Sonic and Tails came to the scene. Sonic: "Come on Chip, it's time to get to the next temple." Chip: "Oh... already?" Sonic: "Don't worry, you can play with them more when we get back." Chip: "Okay..." said Chip, before he joins Sonic and Tails to the Warp ring portal, which takes them to Australia, the location where the sixth temple is at. As the trio travel across the land, they meet many different kinds of animals, like the Kangaroo or platypus for example. Tails: "Wow... the animals here are stranger looking... even compared to us." Sonic: "Yeah... but no sign of the temple..." Tails: "According to the Gaia Manuscripts, it should be in that jungle over there." said Tails, before he and the others went into the jungle, where the find the sixth temple of Gaia. However, when Chip got close to it, he stopped, due to having a strange feeling inside of himself. Sonic: "Hey... what's wrong?" Chip: "I don't know... I got this weird feeling..." Sonic: "Huh?, what do you mean?, it's just another temple like the others, and it doesn't look like there's anyone around." Chip: "That's not what I meant... well... I've been thinking about my memories... what if I don't like them...?" Tails: "You're scared of what your memories are like?" Chip: "A little bit... yeah..." Sonic: "Don't worry, whatever your memories are, we'll go through it together." Chip: "Sure... thanks." said Chip, before he and the Mobian pair went into the temple. Once the trio got into the heart of the temple, Sonic places the sixth powerless Chaos emerald into to hole on top of the base that's on top of a plinth, and once that happened, a sphere of purple chaos energy surrounded the gem, restoring it's color and power at last. Suddenly, the temple and the continent shook up as them slowly but surly went down to the planet's core, back to their original position. That was when Chip sees a picture of Dark Gaia, fighting what looked like himself. Puzzled, Chip touched the picture, which glowed white and an orb of white light went into him, which made him gasp. Sonic: "Chip!" Tails: "Are you okay?" Chip: "I'm fine... but Sonic... Tails... I remember now... all of it..." said Chip, before the scene changed to a beach, where Sonic and Tails were listening to Chip's story. Sonic: "So... you got your memory back?" Chip: "Yes... my real name... is Light Gaia... I am the being of Light and Rebirth... long ago... Dark Gaia and I were once Chao... the original guardians of the Master emerald and Chaos emeralds... the parents of the Chao that you see on Angel island..." Tails: "Really?" Chip: "Yes... one day, my mate tried to use the Chaos emeralds to drain the negative energy from the people of the world at the time, unaware that the evil was being stored into her... turning her into a being of great evil herself... transforming her into Dark Gaia..." Sonic: "Wait... Dark Gaia is a girl?" Chip: "Yeah... as for me... I knew that she had to be stopped... so I used the Chaos emeralds and Master emerald to transform me into Light Gaia... though I didn't had the heart to destroy her... as I still loved her... so I sealed her and myself into the planet's core... which lasted until Eggman used the Chaos emeralds to set us free... but when I got to the surface, I saw Sonic falling, so I used my powers to slow down his fall... only for him to fell on me and lost my memories... until I would get to this temple to restore my memory..." said Chip, before the sun sets and Sonic transforms into his Were-hog form. Sonic: "I bet you were the reason I'm still me." Chip: "Huh?" Tails: "What do you mean?" Sonic: "Even when I'm looking like this, I'm still myself, haven't gone wild like the people or the Chaotix, you must have been protecting me..." Chip: "No... I haven't done anything, the reason you didn't go wild was yourself, as you didn't let the darkness in your heart to beat you." Sonic: "I'm the reason?" Chip: "Yeah, you had a strong heart that was full of light, that's why I wanted your help, and I must thank you for showing me the wonders of this world, the places, the food to eat and the nice people, but now... I must go." Sonic: "Go where?" Chip: "To find Dark Gaia and stop her, and to find the last temple." Sonic: "Without us?" Chip: "Well I got my memory back, so there's no reason you should help anymore." Sonic: "Do I need a reason of wanting to help a friend?" Tails: "Yeah, we all want to help, and besides, the Earth is our home, we have to fix it, and we got this far, so we might as well finish." Chip: "Thanks... really." said Chip, before he, Sonic and Tails give each other a high five. Meanwhile, in Robotnik's lab, Topaz finally woke up to see that she was in a cage, and Dr Robotnik, Shadow and the robot duo were looking at her. Dr Robotnik: "Well... it appears Miss Topaz is finally awake." Shadow: "So it would seem." Topaz: "Robotnik!, let me out of this cage at once!" Dr Robotnik: "And let you warn G.U.N. about our plans, no way." Topaz: "You won't get away with this!" Dr Robotnik: "Oh I think I will... but before we take care of G.U.N.... I have some unfinished business with my brother... Shadow, think you can get him and the other Mobians for me?" Shadow: "Of course, I just hope they can give me a challenge." Dr Robotnik: "I'm sure they will, they managed to last this long after all." Shadow: "Maybe... but I doubt they'll be a match against the ultimate life form." said Shadow, before he glows and vanished without a trace, much to Topaz's shock. Dr Robotnik: "Excellent... everything is coming together..." Orbot: "Oh Dr Robotnik, we have some good news." Dr Robotnik: "Oh really?" Cubot: "Yeah... what's the good news?" Orbot: "Why Robotnik land has just been finished." Cubot: "Oh goody!, I can't wait to enjoy the rides." Dr Robotnik: "Yes... that is great news... now I just need to get my brother and the other Mobians... and then world domination!, ah, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho!" said the mad doctor with an evil laugh that echoed throughout the whole room.
