Escape From Robotnik Land

It was close to sunset, when a warp ring portal opens up, and out came Sonic, Tails and Chip, who see what looked like a theme park based on Robotnik in front of them. Chip: "So this is a theme park?" Sonic: "I guess so... but a bad one as it was built by that rotten Eggman..." Tails: "I hope the others are okay..." suddenly, the sound of Robotnik's laughter was heard. Dr Robotnik: "Greetings Sonic, I see you got the invitation that Shadow left behind, welcome to Robotnik land, the theme park that was built to honor my brilliance, if you have any complaints, come see me personally... if you can... ah, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho.... [coughing]... oh..." Sonic: "Sheesh... he's enjoying this way too much..." Chip: "You think the others are here?" Tails: "No doubt... but we better be careful, if Eggman was expecting us, it's no doubt a trap." Sonic: "Maybe... but we can't let that stop us, for our friends and family are counting on us." Tails: "You're right Sonic... let's go!" Chip: "Yeah!" said the trio, before they head off into the theme park. Meanwhile, in the center of the park, which was a large building that was shaped like Robotnik's head, there was a dungeon that had not only the Mobians, but the humans that were on Angel island, including Topaz. It wasn't long before Dr Robotnik and Shadow came to the scene. Dr Robotnik: "Greetings brother, I see that you have some new friends since I last saw you..." Dr Kintobor: "What do you want Ivo?" Dr Robotnik: "I think we both know what I want, world domination and revenge on G.U.N., though that's more Shadow's goal of course." Shadow: "Yes... making them suffer like how they made me suffer." Dr Kintobor: "Shadow... you can't do this... it's wrong." Shadow: "Wrong?!, what about Maria?!, she was killed by G.U.N. just to get me and the secrets of immortality!, and you left her to die!" Dr Kintobor: "I didn't abandoned her... I never wanted to leave her... but grandpa wanted me to take the Chaos emeralds far away from G.U.N. as possible... I wished to save her and grandpa... but there was nothing I could have done... I'm so sorry..." Shadow: "It's a little late for that." Topaz: "That can't be... G.U.N. killed a little girl...?" Dr Robotnik: "Of course, and you wanna know another secret... the man who shot her... was a man who managed to steal the blueprints of Project Shadow that would make a human have eternal youth... making him a young man for over 50 years now and eventually became the commander of G.U.N., Jerome Wise." said the mad doctor, which made Topaz gasped in shock. Dr Kintobor: "So the commander was Maria's killer... and you knew about it all this time?" Dr Robotnik: "Of course, but I took advantage of it by blackmailing him to let me join G.U.N. so I can have the tech and money to build my machines, in return to not tell anyone his secret." Vector: "And yet you're telling us the secret." Dr Robotnik: "Only because you won't get out of here alive, and once Sonic and his friends get here, I will destroy all my enemies at once." Shadow: "While I get my revenge on the commander." Dr Robotnik: "And you will my friend, but first we need to wait for Sonic and his friends to come... which shouldn't be long now." suddenly, Sonic used a Spin Dash to make a hole in the wall to enter the room, before Tails and Chip came to the scene as well. Sonic: "Eggman... release my friends and family now!" Dr Robotnik: "I told you!, stop calling me Eggman!, it's Robotnik!, Shadow, capture Sonic and his friends!" Shadow: "As you wish..." said Shadow, before he fights Sonic, who was determined to stop the black hedgehog. As the two hedgehogs fight one another, Tails goes to the cell and pressed some buttons that unlocks the door, freeing the prisoners at last. Tails: "Is everyone okay?" Cream: "Yeah, but what about you?" Tails: "I'm fine... but right now we need to get out of here." said Tails, before Robotnik appears behind him. Dr Robotnik: "I don't think so..." said Robotnik, before he stomps on Tails' back, which was hurting the little guy. That was when Dr Kintobor punches Robotnik in the face, knocking him over to the ground. Dr Kintobor: "Nobody... and I mean nobody... stomps on my little boy... got it?!" Tails: "Doc..." Dr Robotnik: "Ooh... why would you risk everything for those things?, they're nothing but freaks." Dr Kintobor: "No, they're living things, and all life is important to protect, and they all know more how to be human than you ever will... they're like children to me... my friends... and family... and I will not allow anyone or anything harm them." said the good doctor, glaring at his evil twin brother. Dr Robotnik: "Sheesh... you're starting to sound like Grandpa and Maria..." Dr Kintobor: "Good... at least one of us does... unlike you who sounds like an immature rotten Eggman." Dr Robotnik: "Why you little... that's it!, I don't care if you're my brother!, I'm finishing you off with my bare hands!" shouted the mad doctor, ready to attack Kintobor, only for the Mobians to stand in front of him. Tails: "If you want the doc, you have to get through me." Amy: "And me." Knuckles: "Me too." Vector, Espio an Charmy: "And us!" Cosmo, Sticks, Helen and Chris: "All of us!" Professor Pickle: "Including me." Chip: "And me too!" Topaz: "While I might work for G.U.N., I will make sure you will face justice for your crimes." Dr Robotnik: "You think a bunch of Mobians like you can stop me?, I will destroy you all just like how I plan to destroy Shadow once I take down G.U.N.!, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho!" said Robotnik, before a moment a silence occurred and Shadow and Sonic both appeared in front of the mad doctor, glaring at him. Orbot: "Uh... Dr Robotnik... I think Shadow heard you..." Cubot: "Yeah me too, I heard ya too, and I don't have ears." Dr Robotnik: "Oh man... me and my big mouth..." said Robotnik, before Shadow and Sonic both threw a punch that hits the mad doctor in the face, knocking him out cold. Shadow: "Should have known Ivo couldn't be trusted..." Sonic: "So does this mean we're friends now?" Shadow: "Don't push your luck, I still have a goal to make Jerome Wise pay." Topaz: "And he will pay for his crimes... that I can promise you." Shadow: "What?, but you're a G.U.N. agent." Topaz: "That might be true... but I can't stand the thought that the one in charge of G.U.N. is a child killer... as the reason I joined G.U.N. was to protect the nations of the world from evil..." Shadow: "Hmm..." Dr Kintobor: "Don't worry Shadow, Maria's killer will face justice this time... I can promise you that." Shadow: "Hmm... well... I guess I can take your word for it Julian... as you were the one person besides Maria to be my close friend... I'm sorry for what I put you through..." Dr Kintobor: "It's okay Shadow... it wasn't your fault... I'm just happy to know that you're still alive after all these years... and I can promise you that once everything is back to normal, I can show you the island and the world, just like Maria promised you." Shadow: "Hmm... very well..." Sticks: "So... he's on our side now?" Cosmo: "I guess so..." Helen: "Guess he's not such a bad guy after all..." Chris: "He's just been through a lot..." Professor Pickle: "Alright... now before we leave, Sonic should get the last Chaos emerald it's power back, and luckily for us, the temple is here." Sonic: "Really?" Chip: "I guess Robotnik must have built this place on top of it." Tails: "I'll look into the computer to find the blueprints, maybe that can tell us where the temple is." said Tails, before he hacks into the room's computer and finds the blueprints, which tells him and the others where the last temple of Gaia is located. Suddenly, Sonic transforms into his Were-hog form, meaning that it was night time. Shadow: "That's an interesting look..." Sonic: "Yeah... but it does come in handy." Tails: "Okay, according to the blueprints, the temple should be below us." Sonic: "Then let's go." Chip: "Right." soon, the group went off to the lower levels, where the temple was located. Once Sonic, Tails and Chip went into the heart of the temple, Sonic places the last powerless Chaos emerald on top of the hole on top of the base that's on top of a plinth, the gem was surrounded by white Chaos energy, which made it have it's color and power back. Tails: "We did it..." Chip: "The final Chaos emerald... back at last..." suddenly, the whole place began to shake, as the last continent began to slowly go down, returning to it's original position. Sonic: "I guess we did it..." Chip: "Yeah... but there's still one more thing to do... Dark Gaia." Sonic: "Oh that's right, we have to stop her." Tails: "But sealing her back won't cut it this time..." Chip: "Then I have a question... what are we gonna do when we face her then?" asked Chip, while Sonic was looking unsure about what to do at the moment.
