you gave inumaki a short hug, his warmth being comforting to you as you held him close, you broke the hug by stepping back and distancing yourself slightly from him.

he slid his hand which was previously around your waist to your hand, holding it as he interwined his fingers with yours.

you felt his thumb brush on the upper part of your hand in a gentle motion, a way of comfort.

panda explained to nobara, "maki needed to renew her glasses and inumaki needed more throat medicine." he said as he looked at the small group that was formed.

"i tagged along since we have training afterwards anyway." he said happily, inumaki spoke up as well, "salmon, salmon." he agreed while nodding his head, explaining the sudden reunion.

after catching up with the second years and the new girl it was revealed that the new girl had a crush on itadori, nobara had immediately called ijichi to bring megumi back, setting her plan into motion.

maki parted her lips, ready to speak up again, "lets keep going then." she said as she took her glasses off, her previous fights had slightly scratched her glasses, it was annoying for her to look at it.

the white haired boy who was holding your hand furrowed his brows, he opposed of makis proposal and spoke up, "bonito flakes." he said as he held your hand up with his hand, showing the interwined handholding.

his opposing caught the attention of maki and panda, both of them looked at the two of you. panda immediately understood and translated for maki, "he wants to go with her instead." he said while looking at maki.

the two other girls, nobara and yuko, were still busy talking as they didnt notice the ordeal happening. maki understood and spoke up, "oh thats fine." maki said unbothered with a smile on her face. she would prefer it as well in fact since she supported the two of you.

after you guys bid farewell you left with inumaki to the local grocery store to get his throat medicine, you had divided your new bought clothes earlier with nobara and had put them in a seperate bag, carrying them in your free hand.

panda and maki left together as well as nobara and yuko, you spoke up to inumaki, "so thats what you meant by going out with the second years." you said while looking at him, still surprised by the sudden reunion.

he did tell you he would go out but you didnt know where it was, it was a coincidence that it was the same place and same time.

"im glad i saw you." he said with a smile on his face, his voice soft and comforting. you saw the corners of his smile peak from under his zipped up turtleneck as he spoke, careful that his cursed speech wouldnt affect anyone.

you continued to hold each others hand as you made it to the grocery store, talking about everything that had happened so far in general. before you knew it you two had arrived at the store.

both of you entered the store, greeting the elderly man behind the counter as you two went straight to the medicine section, all the way in the back.

the store was completely empty besides the elderly man at the cashier and a worker who was neatly arranging the fresh vegetables.

inumaki and you passed the cooling area while still hand holding, you heard the silent hum of the electricity from the coolers as you two talked about who knows what, occasionally cracking a light joke. you felt the cold air from the cooling hit you as you passed to the medical area.

as the two of you entered the medical area you stood in front of a neat shelf, dozens of medications were placed there. you looked at inumaki who was already looking at you.

he had a smile on his face and spoke up, "you find-" he said but stopped speaking, nearly finishing his words. he had to think how to talk without potentionally cursing you.

he furrowed his brows, thinking hard, you looked at him in anticipation, glad that he was so considerate and let him take his time.

"can you..." he said again but stopped, he took a long pause and remained silent for a while, one hand cupping his chin, thinking as his other was behind his back.

he avoided eye contact, "my... medicine?" he said softly, still not satisfied with his speech as he looked down with furrowed brows, thinking hard.

you knew what he meant and helped him, "you want me to find your medicine?" you questioned while looking at him.

his head shot up, his violet eyes were filled with happiness as he displayed a smile on his feautures you could see he was smiling even from behind the turtleneck.

he nodded his head in excitement as you laughed, finding his request rather cute. you obliged happily and tried to find it, scanning the shelfs one by one.

you knew what it looked like, you were familiar with the name, dosage and color of the medication that he had to take.

you tried to find it intently, looking at every label and slightly bending down to see the rest of it. inumaki was silently laughing as he looked at your struggle, holding his hand behind his back still.

"ah!" you said as you saw the fitting label, it had the name, dosage and the prescription that you needed for him. upon further inspection you noticed the shelf was entirely empty.

your smile slightly faded and turned into an expression of confusion as you saw there was none left.

inumaki who was still staring at you bend down to your level, he moved his face next to yours as you remained looked at the shelf and the label, double checking it.

suddenly you heard his turtleneck unzip in one swift motion and you felt his warm lips on your cheek, he planted a soft kiss onto your cheek as you were looking at the medications.

it caught you off guard, you loved the affection he was showing and your cheeks and tips of your ears started slightly burning up at the unexpected motion.

his lips lingered on your cheeks for a good few seconds, his warmth and the softness of his lips comforted you greatly.

soon enough he gently broke the kiss and distanced himself from you again, looking at you with a sly smile. the boy remained looking at you and made sure there wasnt too much distance between the two of you.

you turned your head into his direction, your cheeks burning up as you got flustered by his action, his violet eyes met yours as you were still bent down with him.

he parted his lips as he looked at you, his eyes half lidded as you took in every feature of him since his turtleneck was down.

he spoke up, almost in a whisper, making sure no one else but you could hear him, "cute.." he said softly as he kept the eye contact.

the male then fully stood up and revealed his other hand which he was keeping behind his back the entire time.

he showed you the medication, he had already gotten it before you searched the shelves, wanting to tease you.

inumaki had planned for you to get distracted so he could kiss you on the cheek, it worked and he got a satisfied response from you, causing him to chuckle slightly.

your eyes widened at his comment and the fact he was playing with you, your cheeks burning even more as you stood up as well.

"you had it..!" you spoke up in a whisper, not trying to make a commotion as you looked at the last medication in inumakis hand. you couldnt believe he teased you like that but loved it nonetheless.
