     "These are the barracks." I deadpanned as I walked through the hallways. I had been put in charge of showing the new recruits around. It was originally supposed to be Miche, but I knew he wouldn't have been able to hold his tongue.
     "Well," I said with a sigh as I turned around to face them, "it's time for you guys to get your uniforms."

     I could tell that they weren't impressed, but they obliged silently. It was really gonna take a lot to even squeeze even a word out of them. But I did manage to get their names, Levi, Farlan, and Isabelle.

     I lead the three of them to where they would be fitting for their uniforms. We already had some tailored, so if we needed to fix the sizing on any of them it would be easy.

     "Try them on and come out when you're done. You are required to wear your uniform at all times while on duty." I said before I shut the door behind me.

    I could hear some faint mumbling between them through the door, but I wasn't one to eavesdrop on something I could care less about.
     "Captain F/n."
     I turned my head to see the third member of my squad, Zunther Tress.

     "What is it, Zun." I asked as I fixed my posture.
     He handed me a piece of paper, "The commander wants to have a meeting with you and Erwin about," he lowered his voice, "The situation." He whispered as he gestured to the new recruits behind the door.

     I rolled my eyes, "it's not that much of situation," I mumbled as I read what was on the paper, "I'm having a meeting with the section commanders and commander Shadis? That can't be right." I said with disbelief as I re read the words printed.

     "Well, you were part of the group who brought them here, so it's not that surprising."
     I nodded and put the paper into my pocket, "I'll leave you in charge of the three knuckle heads in here," I said as I pointed to the door, I began to walk past him, "don't be threatened by their fear of speech! Take them to the training grounds."

"Welcome, Captain." The commander greeted as I walked through the doors.
I stood up straight and saluted him, "Commander Shadis."

"Well," the commander began, "Were here to discuss the future of those criminals Erwin believes are crucial to the survival of the survey corps, any input Captain?"

I bit my tongue for a moment.
"I agree with Erwin, Commander Shadis. I've seen their skills, especially Levi, he's the best of the best."
He stared at me for a moment and then cleared his throat.

"Well, if you and Erwin both agree, then I believe it'll be alright to allow them to join."
"Are you kidding! We've all been properly trained, but some criminals just get a free ride into the scouts!?" One of the section commanders yelled as he slammed his fist on the table.

"Yeah! We're being treated no differently than the underground thugs! It won't boost our soldiers morales!" Another one said.
"There's no way they'll survive our next mission!"

"I do understand your concerns," Erwin said sternly, "however, both me and Captain F/n can vouch for their ODM skills, they are truly something else."

The room was silent for a moment.
"With my new formation idea," Erwin said, he had this weird yet scary glint in his eye, "I wouldn't worry about them dying."
Commander Shadis nodded his head, "until now our main focus was on how to defeat titans, but now we have a way to avoid and counter them," He stood up out of his chair, "our main concern is their lacking in formalities. But they'll learn that quick. Dismissed."

"Attention! All hands!" The commander yelled.
Every troop had been gathered into the courtyard for the new recruits "introduction ceremony" as the commander called it.

I was able to meet up with Fia, Hange, Felix, and Miche. It had felt like forever since I'd seen them. Since I left Zunther in charge of the rookies, he was up on the stage with them.
"I'd like to introduce the new trio who will be fighting with us starting today!"

Commander Shadis turned to the trio; he stared down at the three of them.
"Introduce yourself to your new comrades!"
Levi glared at the commander, then glared at everyone who was watching. He had his arms crossed.
"The names Levi." He said in a monotone voice.

Everyone kind of just looked around at each other. We were all surprised at how easy it was for him to be disrespectful.
"Levi." The commander said sternly, "the first thing you're going to learn is discipline. Next!"
Isabel was up next, she held her head high.
"Isabel Magnolia! Nice to meet you!" She said in a loud voice. She had a confident grin on her face.

Farlan stepped forward, "Farlan Church! Is the name!"
The commander nodded, "You'll be joining Captain F/n's squad for the time being." He said as he pointed to me, "She'll take good care of you. Dismissed!"

"Oh no!" Hange said as they grabbed onto my arm, "you have the criminals in your squad! That sucks!"
I shrugged her off, "it's okay, I'll show them the ropes. And I'll discipline them when the time calls for it, won't we Felix, Fia?"
They both smiled at me, "damn right we will." They said in unison.

"Well, I suppose it's time to show them to their rooms. Come now." I said as I began to walk towards the Trio.

Levi looked pissed, although I assumed he always looked like that. The other two just looked happy to be here, well happier than Levi did.
"We'll show you to your rooms now." I said with a smile as I walked up to them. I slapped hands with Zunther once I got close enough.

As we walked, Fia and Felix were staring hard at them. They looked like they wanted the trio to make a wrong move just so they could beat them. Scary. Zunther on the other hand was trying his best to make small talk, I could tell he had been trying the whole time they were under his watch.

"Here we are," I said as I opened the doors to where they would be staying.
Isabel and Farlan took a look around with smiles on their faces.

     "Yay! This means we're all in the same room!" Isabel yelled as she punched Farlans arm.
     "Women are held in a different section." Fia said in response.
     Isabel's happy face morphed into a sad one, "well that's lame..."
     "Make sure you thugs keep the barracks clean." Felix said in a demanding tone.
     "Felix!" Zunther whisper yelled, "be nice!"
     Levi turned around to face Felix.
     "What did you say?" Levi asked, he sounded like he was offended.

     Even though Levi was way shorter than Felix, he stood his ground. He was trying to intimidate him as if they were equals.
     Felix returned his attitude, "don't you dare cop an attitude with me. Keep the place clean you underground mu-"
     "I'm sorry about him!" Zunther yelled as he shoved Felix's face away, "you're so unwelcoming! I'm sure they'll keep it very clean!"
     Levi scoffed and turned back around.
     "We'll start your training tomorrow, yea?" I said as I placed myself between my squad and the trio, "get some rest."

     Levi looked over his shoulder and glared at me. Somehow it kind of amused me.
     "If you want to be disrespectful towards my squad, go right ahead." I said as I stepped closer to Levi, "but if you disrespect me, I won't let you off easy."

     Farlan stepped between the two of us, "I'm sorry, Captain! It won't happen again!" He yelled in a desperate tone.
     I stepped back a bit, "good, you could learn a thing or two from him, Levi."
