"They're moving back into town! Captain what should we do?"
I watched as Eren and Annie once again began to destroy the city once again. I knew it would cause political trouble for the corps later, but I couldn't thing about that now.

"We have to follow them, stay a safe distance though, we have no idea how rough the fight is going to get." I ordered, "notify the left and rear squad, keep the fight surrounded!"
"Rodger that!"

Hange and I lead the surrounding corpsmen a good distance away from the fight, but close enough that we could still someone see it. The female titan seemed to be running away, and Eren wasn't following her.

"Eren?! Where is he?!" Mikasa yelled as she looked around urgently.
"Calm down, I'm sure it'll be fine." I said as I stared in the direction the female titan was running from. Had Eren been killed?
"Move in! Eren may have been defeated! If he's still alive we need to take every measure possible to retrieve him!" I yelled as I raised my sword up in the air.

With that we all began to charge at full speed towards Eren, but before we could reach him, he managed to stand. His titan had lines that reminded me of fire all over his body, his teeth seemed to be sharper, although his limbs weren't fully regenerated he still managed to run towards Annie.

"Fall back! He's back up! He seems to have lost control!" I yelled as began to slow down.
Eren was gaining up on Annie, he was running after her like a rabid animal. Once he got close enough he pounced on Annie's shoulder, he bit down deep into her skin. The force of him jumping on her cause them both to fall, they broke a passage way over the streets doing so.

"Surround them! If Eren manages to win we have to be on standby to detain Annie Leonhart!" I ordered as I began to move closer to the fight.
Eren had Annie pinned to the ground, it seemed like they were both in a screaming match.

     Eren had a grip on her face, and he squeezed it hard enough for it it be crushed. There was titan blood and steam everywhere. A nasty sight to see.
Annie managed to elbow Eren in the face, causing him to lose his grip on her. Annie then kicked him into a nearby building. She turned back to the wall and hardened her fingertips. Annie began to scramble as fast as she could to climb up, I could tell she was grasping at whatever she could, cause there was absolutely no way she could escape us now.

Eren emerged back from the building he had been kicked into and ran towards Annie. He sunk his teeth into her right leg, it caused her to halt her climbing. She began to kick at Eren's head, which allowed him to rip her whole lower leg clean off.

Even though she had lost part of one of her legs, she could still climb, and fast at that. If we didn't do something she would surely climb over the walls.

"Mikasa!" I yelled, "come with me, we're going to slice her hands!"
Mikasa nodded and drew her blades, "Rodger that!"

     The both of us moved on opposite sides of Annie, I was to slash her right hand and Mikasa would slash the left. We swung at full speed towards her hands, her eyes followed us helplessly as we slashed all ten of her fingers. Once I confirmed that she was to fall, I quickly retreated back to Hange and the others.
    
     "It should be over now.." I said in a flat tone as I resheathed my blades.
     Eren was tearing the female titan to pieces, he severed her limbs and tore up her body. I watched as he opened his mouth to bite down on her nape.
     "He's going to eat her, isn't he. Idiot!" I said in an annoyed tone.

     Eren ripped away the skin around the nape, revealing Annie. Instead of biting down on her, he just sat there staring. Annie's body began to glow a pure white, the rest of her body hardened, and it was fusing Eren's titan to her.

     "Shit!" I yelled as I grabbed a fresh set of blades. I sped towards the scene, I had to get to Eren before he was fused too Annie and killed. I connected my anchors to the small amount of skin he had left and swung my blades down onto his nape. I made sure not to slice Eren fully, I just needed to get him out of there.

     "Eren! Don't go and eat our target yeah?" I said with a short breath as I grabbed him out and got away from Annie's hardening titan as fast as I could. I got a safe distance away from Eren's now disintegrating titan body. He was unconscious. I took my cloak off and laid it on the ground, I then laid Eren's head down as well.

     "F/n!"
     I turned around to see Levi running towards me. His expression seemed to be relieved with a mix of worry.
     "Levi-"
     Before I could say anything else Levi wrapped his arms around my head and pulled me into his chest. I could hear his heartbeat, it was loud, it hurt my ears somewhat.

     "Thank goodness," he said as he put his hands on my shoulders, making eye contact with me, "I was worried you were going to die." He said in a monotone voice.
     I smiled warmly at him, trying my best to cover up my now red face, "I told you I would be just fine on my own. But it's good to see you, Levi."

Dear Calin,
Things right now are chaotic, but there's one thing for sure, humanity has captured an enemy. We have won once again over the titans. Although the female titan has detained herself in her own hardened prison, she is in our custody. And if she ever does come out of that cocoon, we will drive answers out of her in any way possible. I feel like things will get better, we're a step closer to figuring out the whole truth behind the titans....Hey, Calin, how are things up there? I hope you're alright, recently some of my comrades have been sent up there too, please take care of them. I hope that you, along with everyone else is looking down on me, I hope that I'm making you proud, brother.

"Oi," Levi said as he put his hand down on the table, "who are you writing that letter to?" He asked as he examined it, "who's Calin?"
Levis tone sounded a slight bit angry. I folded up the letter and put it under my desk, along with the rest of the letters I had written Calin over the years.

"My brother. Calin is my older brother." I said with a tiny smile.
"I didn't know you had a brother." He said with surprise.
     My smile faded as I put my pencil down, "that's because I don't," I admitted, "but I used to. Calin died a long time ago, I write him letters every now and then with no intention of sending them anywhere really, it just helps me feel like he's still alive somewhere, even if it's in the afterlife." I said softly.

     Levi put his hand on my shoulder, he didn't say a word, but his hand resting firmly on my shoulder was comfort enough.
     I shook my head to shake off feeling of sadness, "never mind that yeah, how about we go down to the mess hall and get something to eat, maybe we can get some tea?" I said, trying my best to change the subject.

     Levi nodded, "yeah, I could go for something to drink." He said as he made his way to the door, "where was your squad stationed again, I just realized I haven't seen Fia nor that insufferably tall dimwit Felix?" He asked as we walked through the barracks.

     "They're with Miche and his squad, stationed in the interior of Wall Rose. They're monitoring the rest of the 104ths recruits per Erwin's request." I said, keeping my eyes forward.
     Levi didn't say anything, he just nodded.
     Down the hallway I could see someone running, it was Zunther. He looked to be in a hurry.

     "Captain F/n!" He yelled as he gained up on us. Once he got to me, he clung onto my shoulders as he tried to catch his breath as quickly as he could.
     "Oi, Zunther. Calm it." Levi said in annoyance as he removed Zunthers hands off my shoulders, "don't cling to her like that."

     "Sorry.." Zunther mumbled as he took a final deep breath, "there's urgent news!" Zunther yelled.
     "Spit it out already, dumbass!" I yelled back at him.
     "There are titans...! There are titans inside wall rose!"
