     "F/n, I don't think I've ever seen you genuinely angry like that before." Zunther said as we walked through the corridors.
     "You're lucky, Zunther. Thats all I see." Said Felix.

     "I can't believe you gave that runt permission to disrespect us!" Fia mumbled angrily.
     "Well, it's kind of funny to see you guys get bent out of shape over disrespect. So, I thought I'd invite them to, for entertainment of course!" I grinned.

     "Well, that's just mean." Zunther said in a defeated tone.
     "You guys go get some rest. We have to start training those rookies tomorrow. I doubt it'll be a walk in the park." I said as I yawned.
     "Alright, I'll see you tomorrow, Captain." Zunther said as he saluted me.

     He and Felix began to walk towards their barracks. They had an odd relationship, they fought like a married couple, and at the same time they acted like they didn't know each other.
     "Are you heading right to bed, F/n?" Fia asked as she and I walked into our shared room. Hange was already fast asleep sprawled out on their bed.
     "I'll head to bed soon; I have something to do."

     Dear, Calin,
        We had three new recruits join us today. Erwin, Miche, and I found them in the underground. Their skills with ODM gear are something out of this world. Especially Levi's. Speaking of Levi, and his friend Farlan, I was surprised to find out that I had actually met them before, about five or six years ago now. Although I doubt they recognize me. It'll be tough to get to know them, they're very reserved, but I'm sure I'll manage. Sometimes I wish I had your social skills, big brother.

The entirety of the next day was spent showing the trio the ropes of how the survey corps operated. We also had to give them horseback lessons. Horses are even more important that ODM gear, and with them being from the underground, it's rare they've even touched a horse before.

"Put your foot in the stirrup here, and then lift yourself up and swing your other leg over the horses back." I instructed as I helped Isabel lift her leg up into the stirrup.
"I don't think I can do it!" She whined.
I patted her back, "you got it, don't think too hard."

She gripped onto the reigns of the horse and slowly lifted herself up. The most subtle movements from her horse seemed to startle her. But she managed to get to the top.

"There you go!" I praised.
"Levi bro! Do you see me!" Isabel said with a big smile as she yelled over at Levi.
I smiled and looked at him too, he held that same death glare on his face.
"Here, now kick her sides gently to get her moving. I'll help lead you around." I said as I put my hand on the horse's neck.

"Hiya!" Isabel yelled as she kicked the horses' sides. Her horse began to gallop at full speed, and I was surprised to see how well Isabel was able to control her.

"Wow!" I said with amazement, "did you learn to ride somewhere?" I asked as Isabel slowly came to a stop.
She shook her head as she pet her horse's mane, "nope! I've just always loved animals!"
I laughed and patted her knee, "that's something we have in common."

"Captain F/n!" Zunther yelled from the outside of the fence, "It's time for their ODM evaluation!"
I nodded and turned back to Isabel, "here let's get you down," I said as I helped her down and back onto the ground.
