     The kids looked scared, I honestly felt sorry for them. The boy with the weird markings looked rough, he looked like he was literally about to die.
     "Hey." I said flatly as I walked closer to the kids, I knelt down to the frail boys level, "what's up with you? Huh? What's your name."

     He looked intimidated, maybe that was because Levi was glaring at him from behind me. I didn't have to see Levi to know he was glaring.
     The boy gulped, "I-I'm Eren Yeager, ma'am!" He stuttered.

     "Eren Yeagar." Erwin said from behind me, I didn't even realize he had scaled down the wall. There were three other soldiers accompanying him.

     Eren looked up at him with a wide expression, "Yes sir!" He said, which seemed to exert the rest of his strength, because he passed out not soon after.
     Some more soldiers began to surround us, most of them being the Military Police. They immediately took him into custody, they cuffed him even though he was unconscious. Strange to say the least.

     "What's up with that kid?" I asked Erwin as we followed the group of soldiers.
     Erwin had a strange look on his face, his expression held an astonished yet malicious look.
     "According to commander Pixis, he was the one who plugged the wall." Erwin said with a smile.

     My eyes widened, "what!? How?" I exclaimed.
    Erwin looked down at me as we walked,  "That titan. According to reports he emerged from the nape of it, he was that titan. He can transform into a titan."
     Levi and I exchanged a surprised glance. There was no way. A human turning into a titan? That's completely impossible, right?

Eren was soon jailed once we got to the courthouse. Hange, Miche, and my squad were already there. Apparently Eren was to be put on trial as soon as possible, to determine whether he was to be killed or not.
"Do you think he's full of shit?" I asked Levi as we entered one of the comfort rooms in the courthouse.

     Levi thought for a moment, I immediately sat down on the couch, the first time I had actually sat down today.
     "I don't see why he would lie." He deadpanned as he sat down next to me.
     I leaned my head on the back of the couch, fixating my eyes on the ceiling, "I don't think I can believe it. I cannot imagine a human being able to do that."

     Just then the door opened, revealing Erwin. Hange and Miche weren't far behind him.
     "There you two are. I want you to accompany me to visit Yeagar in his cell." Erwin said with a smile.
     Levi glared at him, "what for."
     "I want to find out everything I can before he's to be put on trial."

     I got up without hesitation, I too was curious.
     "I'm in," I said as I walked over to Erwin, "Levi?" I asked in a sort of hopeful none
     He sighed and got up, "if you go I go."
     I felt my chest tighten, a smile spread across my face.

     "Let's get to it then." Erwin said as he walked out, Levi and I followed close behind him. We walked through the large hallways, it sort of reminded me of my home, well what used to be my home. I hadn't even thought of that place in a while. Part of me wondered how my parents were doing, but the other couldn't care less.

     We arrived at the entrance to the dungeon, Erwin pulled out a key and unlocked it. It was way darker than the hallways, but the torches that lined the wall allowed for some sort of light. Eren was being kept in the further most cell, apparently he was a danger to everyone around him.

     "His cell is right down here." Erwin said as he led us down a long corridor. Soon enough we arrived at the very end, where Erens cell was.
     I peered through the bars, he was sleeping. Or maybe he was still passed out, one of the two.
     "The brats still sleeping, tch." Levi said in annoyance.
     I smiled at him, "we only just got here, give it a
second."
     Eren quickly awoke with a gasp.
    I turned to face him,  "There he is! Rise and shine!"

     "Where- where am I!" He asked with a weak but urgent voice.
     Levi put his hand on my shoulder and led me to the back wall where he had been standing. Erwin was staring at Eren intensely.
     "As you can see, you're in a cell, in a dungeon." Erwin deadpanned, "you're underneath the courthouse, and annoyingly enough you're in the Military Police's custody. We've only just received permission to visit you."

     Erwin kept his intense stare as he raised a gold key, placed between his index finger and his thumb. Eren looked surprised to see it.
     "That key.." Erwin muttered.

     Erwin nodded, "yes, it's yours. Of course I'll return it to you later. But for now I'll hold on to it. It unlocks the basement to your home, Dr. Yeager's basement. That is where all the information on the titans remain."

     I was surprised to hear that Erwin seemed to have all the information on this kid already. I was under the impression that we were going in blind. I glanced over to Levi, he was glaring, of course, at Eren. He didn't blink, he was entirely focused on the existence of that kid.

     Eren shook his head in approval, "yes, I believe so, that's what my father said."
     Levi cleared his throat, "you have amnesia and your father's missing, huh? Awful convenient is it not?"

     Erwin looked back at him, "Levi, we've already concluded that he has no reason to lie," he then looked back at Eren, "we're still very much in the dark, what I think is best for us now is to question your intentions."

     Eren still had his wide eyed expression.
     "My...intentions?" He asked as if he did not understand what he meant.
     Erwin nodded, "to reach that basement, we have to take back Wall Maria, which takes drastic measures. Your titan power would prove as a crucial asset to our victory, as it seems our fate is controlled by titans after all. The armored, and the colossal titan are likely to be the same as you. So," Erwin said as he stood up from the chair he had been sitting at this whole time, "what are your intentions."

     Eren still looked confused, like he did not understand what Erwin was saying. Which was starting to piss me off .
     "Hey, answer us. What is it you intend to do?" I asked in a condescending tone.
     Eren looked down at his lap for a second, when he raised h his head once again he had a somewhat murderous smile spread across his face.

     "I want to join the survey corps, and I want to kill every last titan that roams the earth!"
     I was taken aback by his upfront answer, but I wasn't upset with it. He had the right mindset.
     "Not a bad answer." I said with a smile as I walked up to his cell. I placed my hand on one of the bars, "Erwin, I'll take responsibility for him. Actually both Levi and I will, tell that to the brass."

     "Tch, you're always dragging me into things." He complained.
     I shrugged my shoulders, "you would've done it with me anyways." I said with a smile.
     I turned back to face Eren, I kept a silent eye contact with him for a few seconds.
     "It's not like I trust you, if you betray us, I will kill you without hesitation and without remorse."
     Eren looked taken aback.
     "Levi and I will look after you and keep you in line , you can count on it. I'll accept your enlistment, I'll welcome you as an official member of the survey corps."
