***Amaya's POV***
I probably didn't close my eyes for but a second when I heard three new voices shouting my name. With an inward sigh of exhaustion, I opened them to reveal Sanji, Ace, and Chopper surrounding me.
"I see you made it, Sanji. Hey, Freckles. How was your reunion with Marco? Doc Chop, you did a great job with that antibody, I see."
"Would you guys back off? You're stifling." Law protested, shifting me slightly in his arms.
Ace smiled his forced smile that he gave when he was annoyed. "Agreed, let's take this somewhere else." He lifted me up from Law's lap and into his arms. "We'll take our leave." He said to Law. With that we were off.
"Ace, where are we going?"
"I'm going to have Marco take a look at you."
"I'm fine." I refuted as I rested my head on him.
"You just took on an Emperor of the Sea! Even if you won, you're still injured." Ace paused his walking before scanning my face. "Your face is covered in bruises, too."
I sighed as I submitted to my fate.
"He's right, Ama-chan. You should be looked at by someone. If not Marco, I'll get Chopper over here." Sanji suggested behind me.
I didn't even sense him with how quiet the blonde was walking beside us. "Wasn't Chopper just here?" I wondered, scanning for the reindeer.
"He stayed behind with those two you were fighting with earlier." Sanji explained.
"They'll be fine, especially Law with his crew." I commented.
"What's up between you two anyway?" Ace butted in while looking straight ahead. "You like him or something? The one with the spotted hat."
"Yeah, you didn't seem to have a problem when you were in his lap." Sanji added with an extra quirk of his brow.
I gave a single silent laugh. These two. "He's asked me to join his crew once or twice before, and he hasn't been quiet about his feelings either. But, I've made it clear that I won't be joining his crew."
"And?" Ace prompted.
I rolled my eyes, thinking back to when Law and I last spoke about it on Punk Hazard.
"Have you considered my offer? Will you join my crew by my side?" His tone was hopeful as his eyes searched mine.
"I have, but I can't accept." I stated, causing his eyes to harden slightly.
"At least the first part." I continued, making him gesture to explain. "I can't imagine being inside a submarine all day. I'm meant for the sky not the sea after all, but I have a counter-offer for you."
"Go on." He voiced.
I pulled out a letter from my leg pouch. "All the details are inside. It's not something that I can speak about in the open. Only a couple of others know at this point. I haven't even told Lu, so once you read it, please burn the contents."
He took off his hat before placing the letter inside. "I look forward to reading it, Yaya." He smiled. "You said you couldn't accept the first part of joining my crew. What about the second part of being by my side, or letting me by yours?"
After that, Lu plowed into me, so I guess I never did answer him. Whoops.
"You know, I guess I never explicitly said no to that. I'll need to talk to him. Besides, I'm waiting to see if he'll accept my offer to help rebuild my island."
