•••As the reality of impending exams and the approaching tournament set in, Aeris couldn't help but exclaim, "Already! Damn, how time flies."
"Yes, and Ae-chan, how many times do I have to tell you to stop cursing?" Takeda-sensei admonished.
"Sorry, sensei," Aeris replied sheepishly.
"No, I can't. I won't!" Tanaka and the other wild clouds started running around, trying to escape the looming pressure of exams.
"You can't escape! Even if you run, you'll still have to take the exam," Daichi said sternly.
Ennoshita started chasing them around the gym, adding to the chaotic scene. Meanwhile, Narita and Kinoshita exchanged uneasy glances.
"I should start studying," Narita said, anxiety clear in his voice.
"Me too," Kinoshita agreed, equally worried.
Hinata, ever the optimist, looked at Coach Ukai with pleading eyes. "Coach, maybe the Vice Principal will excuse us since we're representing the school?"
Coach Ukai shook his head. "Sorry, Hinata. Sports are extracurricular, and you're still students. You need to study."
"And even if the Vice Principal gives permission, the final exam is important because we have to base your grades on it," Takeda-sensei chimed in.
Everyone started panicking, feeling the weight of exams bearing down on them.
"Everyone! Relax!" Daichi's voice boomed, trying to calm his teammates. "We still have time until the tournament. I'm sure everyone can study well."
A medium, creative smile spread across Daichi's face. "Yeah, Daichi is right. I'll help you study," Aeris said, stepping in to offer support.
"Really, Aeris-chan? Can I come?" Asahi asked, his eyes hopeful.
"Of course! We'll study every day at our house," Aeris said, determined to help her teammates succeed.
"Good idea, Aeris-chan. We'll have practice for a few hours, and then you'll study at Aeris-chan's house," Coach Ukai agreed.
"All of us should go?" Tsukishima asked, skepticism in his voice.
"Yes, each and every one of you," Aeris insisted.
"But—" Tsukishima began to protest.
"Okay, now that's final. And before I forget, I need your parents' permission," Takeda-sensei cut him off.
The team groaned collectively, but there was a sense of camaraderie in the air. They knew they had to face the exams together, just as they faced every challenge on the volleyball court.

Aeris was diligently teaching the first-year students, Ennoshita and Daichi were working with the second-year students, and The third-year students opted for self-study, preparing for their final exams. Gathered around the dining table, surrounded by a mountain of books and notes. Aeris had her hands full teaching algebra, starting with the basics.
