"You're welcome," Kenma said, his voice soft as he leaned back in his seat. Aeris was about to steer the conversation towards a different topic when a panicked voice called out his name.

"KENMAAA!" a team member exclaimed, their tone filled with urgency. Aeris glanced at Kenma, a knowing smile appearing on her face. "I think that's for you," she said, her eyes twinkling mischievously.

"KENMAA!" another voice cried out, more desperate this time. Aeris chuckled and nudged Kenma playfully. "You should probably go, before they file a missing person report," she teased, her voice tinged with warmth.

Kenma stood up gracefully, offering a small bow to Aeris, who reciprocated the gesture with a nod of her head. The simple exchange spoke volumes about their friendship, a silent understanding between them. Before Kenma turned to leave, Aeris called out to him, her voice filled with cheerfulness.

"Oh, and Kenma," she said, a mischievous smirk playing on her lips, "tell Coach Nekomata I said hi." With a wave, their paths diverged, Kenma's sudden reappearance didn't go unnoticed by their teammates. Inoka, one of the team's vivacious members, couldn't contain her excitement.

"Oh, it's Kenma!" he exclaimed, his eyes lighting up. The others turned their attention towards him, their gazes expectant. Kuroo, the team captain, couldn't hide his curiosity.

"Where have you been, Kenma?" Kuroo asked, his voice a mix of concern and curiosity. Kenma glanced up from his beloved PSP, a playful smile tugging at the corners of his mouth.

"Somewhere," he replied with a hint of mystery, whipped out is psp to play a game. The response only served to deepen the intrigue amongst the team, their curiosity piqued.

"Coach, Aeris-san said hi," Kenma added nonchalantly before making his way towards the bus, leaving his teammates in a state of bewilderment. They exchanged puzzled glances, unable to comprehend the significance of Kenma conversing with Aeris.

"Did he just talk to Aeris?" Inoka whispered, his voice full of wonder. Kuroo scratched his head, a bemused expression on his face.

"I guess we'll never understand the enigma that is Kenma," he mused, his tone laced with amusement. And so, the team carried on with their day, still unsure of the intricacies of Kenma's relationship with Aeris, but certain of one thing: their bond was undoubtedly special.

Aeris returned to where the team was gathered, and Yui, with a curious expression, asked, "Where have you been, Aechan?"

Aeris replied casually, "I went to the toilet."

Chizuru, noticing something off, inquired, "Why are your eyes red? Are you okay?"

Aeris managed a forced smile and reassured, "Yeah, I got something in my eyes earlier." The team exchanged glances, sensing that there might be more to Aeris's explanation than meets the eye, but they decided not to press further, respecting her privacy.

The team had just returned to the gym from their intense match. It was a routine for them to gather before heading home, discussing new strategies for their upcoming matches.

Aeris and the others were always full of insightful suggestions and tactics for the team's next battle against Shiratorizawa.

However, on this particular day, as they settled down for their usual discussions, Aeris had something important to share.

"Before we leave, there's something I need to tell you guys," Aeris announced, a tinge of sadness in her voice. The team members exchanged puzzled glances, wondering what could be bothering her.

"I think I won't be playing with you," she hesitantly confessed. The room erupted in astonished exclamations. Suga, unable to hide his surprise, asked, "What do you mean by that?"

Aeris was shocked that the Karasuno boys had overheard her. Trying to hold back her tears, she explained, "They called me after the match and said to 'put me on hold.' I don't know exactly what that means." The team stared at her with a mix of concern and confusion.

"So, you're not playing with us?" Yui asked, her voice filled with disappointment. "Maybe," Aeris replied softly.

"Nanachan," Tobio questioned, worried about the impact this would have on their team dynamics.

Chizuru chimed in, "That's unfair! Didn't they approve your joining the team? Why are they changing their minds now? If you don't play, we won't play either!"

Aeris mustered up her strength and replied, "Listen, guys. You should still play. I'll be there supporting you from the sidelines. Don't let this stress you out. Don't waste our efforts. You're finally climbing up the ladder."

"But-" Mao started to protest before being cut off by Aeris. "No 'buts', alright? You guys go out there on the court, play your hearts out, and win. Don't let this setback dampen your spirit. We'll fight together, even if it's in a different way."

Just as the team processed her words, Coach Ukai stepped in. "Yes, Aeris's right! You rascals need to play, But, I'll be the one to protest" he declared, surprising everyone.

Aeris couldn't believe her ears. "Coach, are you crazy? Did the boys influence you?" she exclaimed.

Coach Ukai shook his head. "What? No! I was not! You deserve to be on that court, but if circumstances prevent that, then I'll do it for you. Don't worry. Just focus on supporting the team. Now hands in."

Aeris was flabbergasted but was quickly pulled back into the gathering by the other girls.

They all huddled together, joining hands. "For Karasuno," Coach Ukai yelled, his voice booming with determination.

"For Karasuno!" they shouted back.
