As Tobio diligently renewed the patches, Yui approached Aeris with concern in her eyes. "Are you okay, Aerischan?" she asked, her voice filled with worry.

Aeris let out a small sigh. "I'm feeling a bit better now, thanks to Tobio," she replied, grateful for the relief the patches provided.

Tobio looked up from his work, examining the numerous bruises that adorned Aeris' body. "You have a lot, I mean a lot of bruises," he remarked, a tinge of concern in his voice. "You even emptied two boxes of pain relieving patches."

"That's just what you get when you're getting old." Aeris said

Tobio couldn't resist a playful tease. "Super old," he added, finishing up the last patch with a gentle touch.

Aeris wanted to playfully glare at him, but her body was too sore to even turn around. Instead, she settled for a playful eye roll. "How old are you, Nanachan?" Kinoshita chimed in, curiosity coloring his voice.

Aeris turned her attention to Kinoshita, a mischievous glint in her eyes. "I'm just 18, okay? Relax," she replied, a hint of sass lacing her words.

As if on cue, the sound of an announcement, signaling the start of the game. The Karasuno Girls made their way into the gymnasium, only to be greeted by a burst of cheering from the crowd. Aeris looked over and spotted her friends amongst the sea of spectators.

"Minaaa, what are you doing here?" she exclaimed, surprised and elated to see them.

"We're here to support you, silly!" Saeko exclaimed, a wide smile lighting up her face.

Airi chimed in, holding up a Karasunk banner with their names proudly displayed. "And we even bought a special banner for you guys!"

Touched by their gesture, Aeris felt warmth bloom in her chest. She smiled gratefully at her friends. "Thank you, minnasan," she said, her voice filled with sincerity. Aeris bowed deeply, her high creativity evident in every gesture.

With her friends by her side and the pain relieving patches doing their job, Aeris knew she could face any challenge that lay ahead on the volleyball court.

The gymnasium buzzed with anticipation as the match between Karasuno High School and Tokonami High School began. The cheers and the echoes of the volleyball echoed through the air. The battle was on.

Karasuno found themselves pitted against a formidable opponent. Tokonami's libero moved with lightning speed, her receives were impeccable, and the setter orchestrated an offense that left Karasuno struggling to keep up. Tokonami took an early five-point lead, and the tension in the gym grew palpable.

She knew that to overcome Tokonami's incredible offense, they needed to make a bold move.

"Time out!" Aeris signaling their teacher to time-out. "We need to change our strategy. We can't let their lead grow any further."

The players nodded in agreement, trusting Aeris's judgment. They implemented the new strategy, focusing on strengthening their defense. Their blocks became more coordinated, and their receives more precise. The tide began to turn, and they slowly closed the gap.

Tokonami, however, wasn't going down without a fight. Their offense remained relentless, and they held on to the lead. The game was fierce and evenly matched.

Aeris called another timeout. "Listen up, everyone," she said, his eyes gleaming with determination. "I've been studying their game. I've found a weakness we can exploit. We're going to disrupt their setter's rhythm and target their weaker rotations. It's time to turn this game around."

With renewed determination, Karasuno returned to the court. They executed Aeris's plan flawlessly, making calculated plays that frustrated Tokonami's setter and exposed their vulnerabilities. The momentum shifted, and Karasuno took the lead.

The crowd erupted in cheers as Karasuno showcased their new strategy. Every point was hard-fought, and the gymnasium buzzed with energy.

In the end, the scoreboard displayed a hard-earned victory for Karasuno. The final point was a resounding spike from Aeris, symbolizing their triumph.

The players from both teams, now forming two lines on opposite sides, were equally touched by the warm reception from the spectators. As they took turns walking down the line, offering handshakes, and exchanging words of admiration like "good game" or "well played," the spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie filled the air.

The Karasuno girls, victorious and still catching their breath, made their way to the edge of the court. The sea of cheers and praise from their friends washed over them. Aeris wiped away a few tears, moved by the overwhelming show of support.

"Thank you for supporting us!" Aeris yelled, and her teammates joined in the gratitude. The Karasuno girls bowed as a sign of appreciation. Their classmates and friends applauded even louder, their energy filling the gym with an electric atmosphere.

The gym was a place of unity, where competition and friendship intertwined. Aeris's classmates and friends felt a sense of pride and belonging as they celebrated the hard-earned victory of their dear friend and her team. They knew that Karasuno's journey had just begun, and they were eager to stand by them every step of the way.

Even outside the gym, Aeris was still being congratulated by her friends. Kuroda-sensei, Aeris's coach, called out to her.

"Aeris!" She called, waving her over. Aeris walked over to her sensei, curious about what he wanted to talk about.

"Yes, Sensei?" she asked

"Congratulations, Aeris," Kuroda-sensei said with a proud smile. "You've made us all proud with your exceptional performance at the Inter-High Championships."

Aeris beamed with pride, thankful for her teacher's kind words. However, before she could fully bask in the glory of her victory, Kuroda-sensei dropped a bombshell.

"But you are being called by the Inter-High Committee," she said, his expression turning serious. "They want to talk to you about something."

A mixture of surprise and curiosity filled Aeris's mind. "Why?" she asked, her voice laced with intrigue.

Kuroda-sensei shook his head. "I don't know the details," she admitted. "But they specifically asked for you. It seems important."

Aeris nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation. "Alright, Sensei. Just let me say goodbye to my friends before I go."

With Kuroda-sensei's permission, Aeris made her way over to her group of friends who had gathered nearby. Aeris quickly said her goodbyes to her friends, thanking them once again for their unwavering support. Their cheers and congratulations still echoed in her ears as she headed off to meet with Kuroda-sensei. Her heart was filled with gratitude for the friends who had always been there for her.
