Rebecca began her new life, there in that little house she felt happy, she found a small orchard near the house and took care of it, which had become her source of food since the day she had been brought to that house the maids had not brought her any basket of food.

During the spring Rebecca devoted herself to tending the orchard from which she gathered its fruits during the summer and fall, thus preparing for the winter. When the cold became bothersome Rebecca stopped leaving her house, that was the first winter that Rebecca did not hate winter, that year she had her hot food and fire to warm her, I wish all her winters were like that one.

One more year passed since Rebecca had married the prince, when spring came Rebecca had already turned 20 years old, she had stopped being that little skinny girl she had always been and at last she looked like a young woman of 20, she had had a slower growth since she had never had a proper diet, but since two years ago she had started to eat well and her body developed wonderfully.

Rebecca was sitting at the entrance of the small house, from there she could see the imposing towers of the castle, she was glad that she had been sent to that small house and not to one of those towers that rose up to the sky, she was deeply grateful because although they had forgotten about her, Rebecca did not feel that way, on the contrary, she felt that for the first time in her life she was living and not surviving as she had been doing all her life.

She looked up at the sky, it was clear and cloudless, shining so beautifully that Rebecca wished she could see it like that every day. The seasons passed, in the blink of an eye two years passed, Rebecca was still living comfortably in that small house enjoying her day to day life, it was a beautiful spring day so she decided to go to the forest near her house to pick mushrooms, while walking through the forest she saw a man lying on the ground, immediately she hid behind a tree, she stared at the body lying slumped on the ground and if her eyesight did not fail her that man had blood on his clothes.

Rebecca looked around wondering if there were more people who could help that man, but there was no one else besides her, Rebecca approached very carefully and could see clearly that the man was her husband, Setherian, she wondered why he was wounded in such a remote part of the castle.

-Did they kill him?- Asked Rebecca with curiosity, she put her head on her husband's chest to make sure that his heart was still beating. When she saw that he was still alive she tried to wake him up, she shook him, tapped him on his chest and when she saw that he didn't respond she gave him a strong blow on his face, but he didn't even flinch, he was completely knocked out.

-Well, what do I do now-, Rebecca wondered as she looked at him, He was still bleeding, if she left him in that place he would surely die and his peaceful life would be over, with no other options Rebecca dragged him by his feet until she took him to her house since it was the closest one and she doubted she could drag him any further.

When they arrived at the house April took off his clothes as they were full of mud and she didn't want him to soil his bed, then she healed as best she could the wound on his stomach, it didn't seem as deep as it had first appeared to her. When she took a good look she realized that he had a blow to the head, maybe that was what had knocked him out.

Rebecca covered him with a sheet after she finished checking him for further injuries, she stared at her husband for a moment, he had a good body and a beautiful face, however, he was not a good man, or at least that was what Rebecca thought. She made tea and waited for him to wake up.

Setherian woke up with a severe headache, he had gone for a walk in the forest when someone had surprised him, he had been cut deeply in the belly and had been hit hard on the head without giving him the opportunity to defend himself. He looked around wondering where he was, his gaze stopped on a beautiful young woman sleeping leaning against his bed. Setherian recognized her by her hair, that was his wife he had forgotten about. He wondered what she was doing there, he was about to wake her up when she opened her eyes, stretched out her arms and when she saw that he was awake she asked him.

-Are you all right?

-Where are we? What are you doing here?

-I found his majesty when I was taking a walk in the forest and I brought him with me.

-I don't believe you, it was you who attacked me.

-Why would I do that?

-Because you're just like your vile and despicable father.

"Here we go, here we go again," Rebecca thought, she stood up, her legs were numb, Setherian had had a fever during the night and she had to bring it down with a damp cloth but in the end she had fallen asleep while doing so.

-If her majesty is well you may go.

-Where are we?- Asked Setherian again.

-In the palace, where else would we be-, Rebecca answered.

-Where exactly?- To Setherian that house looked very plain and he did not remember having seen it before.

-In the place where his majesty sent me to live, it was three years ago, I guess his majesty has forgotten.

-What are you talking about?

-Whatever, if you can get up you can go.

As Rebecca started to walk away Setherian stood up, at which point he realized he was completely naked.

-What have you done with my clothes?- He asked Rebecca.

-I washed them, they were very dirty, they were full of mud, now I'll bring them back.

-What?- Setherian didn't know if it was because of the blow he had received on the head or if the princess was crazy, the idea of a princess washing clothes was unthinkable.

Rebecca returned shortly after with Setherian's clothes, even though she had washed them the blood stains were still on the clothes.

-Call the servants and have them bring me some clean clothes, I'm not going to wear those.

-But they are clean, it was only the blood stains that didn't come out.

-Stop talking nonsense and call the servants.

-I can't.

-Why not?

-The servants don't come here.

-What?
