CHAPTER 41: ALL THE KISSES

Lady Patricia spent the whole afternoon giving Rebecca advice on how she could use kisses in her marriage, Rebecca was very attentive to what she was saying as she found it very interesting how she could use kisses to her advantage. When it was time for dinner Rebecca went to the dining room, Setherian was waiting for her but she didn't see Romano anywhere.

-Where is Romano?- She asked.

-He said he would dine in his room, apparently he is very tired, he was training with the sword today.

Rebecca took his place at the table and said.

-I hope he is well.

-He'll be fine, it's just muscle pain, in a few days it will pass, it's been a long time since he took a sword, and what have you done today?

-As it was a beautiful day I had breakfast in the garden, Romano accompanied me, then we took a walk in the garden until lunch time and in the afternoon I was with Lady Patricia.

-I see you had a busy day.

-Tomorrow I will have some free time in the afternoon so we could take a boat ride on the lake.

Setherian wanted Rebecca to be happy in the palace, to feel at ease and to forget the idea of going back to that little house she had been living in, so he wanted to show her how beautiful the palace was. When they finished dinner Rebecca felt her body heavy, she had eaten more than she should have and wanted to go for a walk before going to bed, she didn't know if Setherian would agree but as she didn't want to go back to her room she plucked up the courage to ask his permission.

-I'd like to go for a little walk before going to bed, may I?

-Of course, but not alone.

Setherian got up and held out her hand to Rebecca.

-I'll walk with you- he said.

-Thank you- Rebecca replied.

They walked through the moonlit garden until they came to a fountain, Rebecca remembered that in her first year at the palace she would escape during the nights and come to cool herself at this fountain to relieve the heat, Setherian also remembered and said to her.

-I remember some time ago I could see a fairy coming to cool off at this fountain and dipping her feet in it.

Rebecca knew he was talking about her, but she didn't want to admit it so she changed the subject.

-It's a lovely evening today, it's hardly warm at all.

She sat on the fountain wall and dipped her hand in the water, Setherian sat next to her.

-I'd like to know who that fairy was, perhaps I should order a search for her- he said.

Rebecca wanted the king to stop talking about that subject, she did not want to be punished for having dipped her dirty feet in the fountain, so she decided to test what Lady Patricia had taught her that afternoon, she stood up and placed herself in front of the king, she put her hands on his shoulders, she brought her face close to his and gently pressed her lips on Setherian's lips. He was very surprised, that was the first time she took the initiative to kiss him, he wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her to him and deepened their kiss, when they separated their mouths he said.

-Is that all?- Setherian asked.

-The others cost me more.

-Which ones are missing?

-A tongue kiss, a kiss on the neck, and another?

Rebecca didn't want to do the next one, Setherian was curious to know which one it was and asked.

-Which one is missing?

-Is it necessary?

-Yes, I want them all.

-A kiss on the earlobe.

-We haven't tried that one- Setherian replied with a mischievous smile -but we'll go through it in the order you said.

Setherian gave her a tongue kiss, then a kiss on the neck that left a red mark on the princess's neck, and finally a kiss on the earlobe, he took Rebecca's earlobe with his mouth and pulled gently up and down.
