When they arrived at the lake Rebecca's eyes sparkled with excitement, that was the first time she had ever seen a lake, it was beautiful.

-Do you like it?- Setherian asked her.

-I love it, I've never seen anything so beautiful.

Rebecca looked like a little girl full of excitement, it made Setherian go back in time, he remembered the first time his parents had taken him to the lake, he had been just as excited as she was now. Setherian took her hand and said.

-The boat is that way, come on.

On the shore of the lake on a small dock there was a beautiful boat with curtains to cover them from the sun and comfortable seats to enjoy the ride, Rebecca looked at everything with great excitement and amazement, a big smile was on her face, that was the first time Setherian had seen her so happy being by his side.

They got on the boat, as Setherian got on she felt herself wobbling, Setherian held her by the waist and said.

-Be careful- he helped her to sit down and the boat was soon underway.

-How does the ship move?- She asked.

-With my magic- Setherian answered.

Rebecca approached the edge of the boat and looking at the sky reflected in the water as if it were a big mirror, she said to him.

-It's amazing, thank you for showing me something so wonderful.

-We can come more often if you like.

-Yes, I would like that.

When the boat reached the center of the lake Rebecca saw some beautiful white flowers floating in the lake, she was amazed, Setherian took one of the flowers out of the lake, dried it with his magic and gave it to Rebecca.

-This is for you, as you seem to like them very much.

Rebecca took the flower, up close it was even more beautiful, the white petals seemed to sparkle with the reflection of the sun, she caressed them with her fingertips.

-It's beautiful- she said to Setherian.

Setherian thought she was even more beautiful than that flower, her reddish hair falling like a waterfall down her shoulders contrasting with her pale skin, her lips as red as rose petals and that smile that made everything shine with a magical light, without realizing it the words escaped from Setherian's mouth.

-You are much more beautiful than that flower.

Rebecca blushed, she wasn't used to receiving compliments, indeed, she didn't even consider herself beautiful since no one had ever told her so.

Setherian stood up, the ship lurched a little, Rebecca was afraid the ship would turn over, when Setherian sat down next to her she hugged clinging to him.

-It's strange that you want to hug me- Setherian told her in surprise.

-This won't turn around, will it? I can't swim.

-Don't worry, it won't, and if it did, I'd rescue you.

-I'd rather it didn't.

Setherian took her chin so that she looked up at him, gave him a soft kiss on the lips and said.

-You need not fear, I will protect you.

Roman went back to his room and finished reading the book, then he decided to go to the city to go thank Leah for recommending him such a good book, but he didn't want to be accompanied by his guards so he dressed in simple clothes and escaped from the palace as he used to do in the past, when he arrived to the city he went to the bookstore, Leah was arranging some books on the shelf, when she saw Roman enter she smiled at him and said.
