Roman didn't want to be just her friend, but he knew it couldn't become anything else, they could only be friends since she was his brother's wife.

Setherian returned a short time later and asked his brother.

-How are you feeling?

-I'm fine.

-Are you sure?

-Yes, I'm over it.

Romano stood up, Setherian asked him.

-Are you sure you don't want to rest a little longer?

-It's not necessary, brother, a moment's rest is enough.

Romano passed by his brother's side and said.

-I'm telling you the truth Seth, I'm fine, don't worry- Romano walked towards the door- Good night- he said to his brother and Rebecca before leaving.

Once out of the room, Romano leaned against a nearby wall, the pain in his leg was gone but not the pain in his heart, that could not disappear with the magic of the princess. At that moment he wished he had not realized his feelings, as it only caused him pain, but he could not tell his brother what he felt and neither could he ask him to give it to the princess, because although Setherian would not admit it he also harbored feelings for the princess. Roman had already realized that, without him realizing it the princess had already become someone important to his brother, Roman wondered how long it would take for his brother to realize that.

Rebecca had become a little worried about Romano and asked Setherian.

-Do you really think Romano is okay? He didn't look fine to me, I touched his forehead but he didn't seem to have a fever, but I'm still a little worried.

Setherian had noticed that when he touched the princess his power became more effective, when she told him that he had no doubt that Romano was well, he told her.

-Don't worry, my brother is fine, and how are you?

-Very well," Rebecca answered, still a little worried.

-Lie down, I would like to see how your wound is.

Rebecca obeyed Setherian, after he checked the wound and put a new bandage on it she quickly lowered her nightgown, since sometimes Setherian would stare at her as if he wanted to eat her, that scared her a little.

-Your wound is much better, it's barely visible now.

-That's right, I think I'll soon be able to stop using the bandages.

-I think you won't have a scar.

-The doctor told me the same thing, that the medicine the wizard made is very effective.

-I'll ask him to do more, in case you get hurt or something.

-Although it doesn't seem like it, I don't get hurt very often, in fact, I haven't even had a slight fever for a while now, I'm in very good health now.

-I'm glad you are.

Setherian lay down next to Rebecca and said.

-I'll be inspecting the kingdom in a few weeks, I'll be away for a few days.

-I will behave myself while her majesty is away.

-Your wound is very well, I think you could accompany me if you wish.

Since Rebecca had arrived at the palace she had not gone out, she felt it was like a fantasy to be able to go out.

-Can I really go?

-Of course, I was thinking of asking Roman to come with us, he hardly ever leaves the palace, I think it would be good for him.

Rebecca's eyes lit up with excitement and she asked again.

-Can I really go out?

-Yes, although you won't be able to get away from me while we're away.

-I won't be, I'll stay close to you all the time.

-How close?

-Very close.

Setherian stood over Rebecca and asked.

-This close?

-If that is what your majesty wishes, it shall be so.

Setherian kissed her and said.

-But I think it would be a little difficult to walk this way.

Setherian kissed her again, kissing had become a normal thing between them and with each passing day they became closer, Rebecca stared at him, he asked her.

-What's wrong?

-Nothing, it's just that it feels strange to be like this.

-Why?

-When we first met he told me he would never treat me as his wife, that he would never touch my body, that he didn't know how many men I had been with before.

-Do you still remember that?

-I have a very good memory and there are some things that are hard to forget, but I can assure you that I have never been with any other man, the only one who has touched my body has been his majesty.

Setherian knew it without her telling him, with every kiss, every caress he gave her, she demonstrated her innocence, that he was the first to possess her, he stroked her hair and answered.

-That day I was angry and I said a lot of stupid things, forget everything I said that day, it wasn't true.

Rebecca nodded her head, Setherian stepped aside, put his arms around her and said.

-It would be better to leave it here for today.

Setherian used his magic to turn off the lights and in the darkness Rebecca said to him.

-Good night Setherian.

-Good night Rebecca.

The next day when Rebecca woke up she found herself alone, the king had already left, she got up and opened the curtains, the sun was shining brightly and dazzled her, once her eyes got used to the light she stared at the sky, it was clear, there was not a single cloud, she did not want to be cooped up on a day as beautiful as that, so she called the maids pulling a rope that was next to the bed. Two maids arrived shortly after, one helped her dress and Rebecca told the other that she wanted to have breakfast in the garden, to prepare everything.

Once upon a time the maids would have ignored her, however, all the maids in the palace knew what had happened to the maid who had attacked the princess and were afraid of meeting the same fate if they offended her, so they all obeyed without replying to what the princess ordered.
