Setherian went to look for Rebecca, she was in her room very happy finishing her hair when he arrived, she looked like a little girl of how excited she was, that night she had barely slept from the excitement, Setherian had noticed because she had moved a lot and had not let him sleep either.

-Are you ready?

-Yes, shall we go now?

Setherian shook her head.

-First let's eat, it's a little early but we won't be able to stop on the way, so we'll eat now and then we'll go.

-Okay.

Setherian held out her hand to Rebecca and said.

-Then let's go.

She took his hand and as they walked down the halls she wondered when it had become so normal to hold his hand. When they reached the dining room Romano greeted Rebecca.

-Good morning Rebecca.

-Good morning Romano.

-Are you ready to go?" Romano asked when he saw her so happy.

-Of course, will the carriage ride be long?

-It will be a few hours by carriage, then we will use a scroll to move- answered Setherian.

Rebecca remembered what a bad time she had had on the journey when she had arrived in the kingdom of Devenport, at that moment all the excitement she had felt disappeared.

-What is it?- Setherian asked.

-Do we have to use the scrolls?- Rebecca asked.

-Yes, we will have to use them to get to the different parts of the kingdom, otherwise it would take too long to do the inspection, I can't be away from the palace for that long, any problem with that?

-It's just that traveling with a scroll was horrible for me, maybe it will be better if I stay- answered Rebecca sadly.

-Normally only the first trip is annoying, I don't think you'll have any problem doing it again.

-Really?

-Yes, so don't worry, everything will be fine.

After the meal they headed to the carriage, Setherian and Rebecca sat together, Romano had to sit across from them and it was his turn to watch them flirt, he found that annoying. When they had moved a little away from the palace Rebecca leaned out of the window to admire the scenery, Setherian put a hand on her back and told her.

-Be careful.

-It's beautiful- Rebecca said as she continued to look off into the distance.

Setherian could only see trees all around him, he asked her.

-What do you mean?

-The scenery, it's very beautiful, when I came here I couldn't appreciate it, I'm glad I can now.

For some reason Setherian felt bad, for a long time he had done the same as King Quin, he had kept her locked up, isolated from everyone and everything, he wondered how she could be so good and sweet in spite of everything she had suffered.

-Why are we stopping?- Rebecca asked as the carriage came to a halt.

-We'll use a magic scroll, so you'd better sit down.

Rebecca sat down again and wished that this would be over soon and especially that she wouldn't feel bad this time. Setherian noticed how nervous and scared Rebecca was, he took her hand and said.

-Calm down, nothing will happen, everything will be fine.

After saying that a light enveloped them, Rebecca closed her eyes tightly while squeezing Setherian's hand, a few minutes later he told her.

-You can open your eyes now, we have arrived.

Rebecca opened her eyes with fear, she felt fine, there was no pain, no nausea.

-Are you all right?- Setherian asked her.

-Yes.

-Normally it's only the first time using transportation scrolls that you tend to feel sick, I'm glad that was the case.

The coachman opened the door and said.

-We have arrived at our destination your majesty.

Setherian went out first, Romano followed him, Rebecca remained looking through the window, in the distance you could see the sea and ships sailing on the immense sea, Setherian when he saw that she did not come down called her.

-Rebecca, you are the only one missing.

Setherian offered her his hand to help her go down, she took his hand, when she went down she could see a beautiful landscape, she was enraptured looking at everything with great astonishment and emotion.

-Do you like it?

-It is beautiful.

-Welcome to the port city of Dubuque.

Rebecca hugged Setherian and said.

-Thank you so much for bringing me.

Roman felt as if his heart was pricked with needles every time he saw them hugging, he said.

-I'm a little tired, I'm going to rest for a while, I'll see you later.

Romano walked towards the inside of a beautiful house behind them, when he walked away Rebecca asked.

-Will we stay here?

-Just until I supervise that everything is working well with the kingdom, then we will leave.

Rebecca turned her gaze to the port.

-Do you want to go see the beach?- Setherian asked.

-Can we go?

-If you're not tired, yes.

-I'm not.

Setherian called one of his servants to get his horse ready, as the beach was a bit far away, while they were waiting Rebecca was looking around, when the horse was brought to her Setherian called Rebecca who was distracted looking at some camellias that had bloomed in the garden.

-Come on, it's time to go.

Setherian helped her onto the horse, then he climbed on, as they set off Rebecca was afraid of falling, she closed her eyes and hugged Setherian tightly as she buried her face in his chest. As they went along Setherian said to her.

-Don't be afraid, I won't let you fall.

Setherian held her waist with one arm, Rebecca at the sound of his voice broke away a little and looked straight ahead, the soft sea breeze caressed her face and ruffled her hair, at that moment she felt as free as the birds flying through the skies, as the ocean that flowed with total freedom, as the wind that no one could catch. She took a deep breath swelling her lungs with fresh air and said in barely a whisper.

-This is called freedom.
