(Y/N) stepped out of the shiny office after the debriefing with Sera, the weight of the mission heavy on their shoulders. As they navigated through the bustling corridors, a whisper escaped their lips.

(Y/N): "How can I possibly trail them right after I got done telling her Lute knows me already? It's going to be suspicious as hell..."

They paused for a moment, frustration bubbling up within (Y/N) as they pondered the situation.

"Why couldn't they just get another angel to do the damn job..." (Y/N) muttered to themselves, a hint of exasperation coloring their tone. "Does everyone respect Adam that much not to trail him or Lute..."

The questions hung in the air, unanswered and echoing the mounting pressure (Y/N) felt to fulfill their mission. Despite their doubts, they knew they had to press on, determined to navigate the delicate balance between duty and danger.

(Y/N) squared their shoulders, steeling themselves for the task ahead, and began to make their way toward the location where Adam and Lute were supposed to be. With each step, a sense of determination coursed through them, driving them forward despite the uncertainties that lingered in their mind.

Navigating through the bustling streets of Halo City, (Y/N) kept their senses sharp, scanning the crowds for any sign of their targets. The weight of their mission bore down on them, urging them to stay focused and vigilant.

At that moment, (Y/N) caught sight of Adam amidst a group of Exterminators, his commanding presence unmistakable as he conversed with them. A sense of foreboding crept over (Y/N) as they watched, the pieces of the puzzle falling into place. Was Adam rallying the Exterminators for an attack on the hotel?

But as (Y/N) scanned the group, a troubling realization dawned upon them. Where was Lute? The absence of the formidable exorcist angel sent a chill down (Y/N)'s spine, raising questions about her whereabouts and intentions. Could she be involved in Adam's plans, or was she pursuing a different agenda altogether?

(Y/N) paused for a moment, contemplating the complexities of the situation. Perhaps Adam and Lute weren't working together after all. Lute's loyalty was to preserve the peace in Heaven, but what did that truly entail? It could mean two very different things.

On one hand, Lute could be working to maintain harmony by thwarting any threats to Heaven, including the Hazbin Hotel. But on the other hand, her dedication to preserving peace could lead her to extreme measures, such as eradicating the hotel and its inhabitants to prevent any potential chaos or conflict.

The thought sent a shiver down (Y/N)'s spine. If Lute's intentions aligned with the latter scenario, it could spark a catastrophic chain of events, plunging both Heaven and Hell into a devastating war that would claim countless lives.

Just then, a figure flew past (Y/N), catching them off guard.

(Y/N): "What th-"

Before they could react, they were yanked with surprising force into a secluded, spotless alleyway. The sudden movement sent them hurtling towards a crystal-clear wall.

(Y/N): "GAH..."

A sharp cry of pain escaped (Y/N)'s lips as they collided with the unforgiving surface.

As they lay on the ground, dazed and disoriented, (Y/N) slowly pushed themselves up into a crouched position, their senses on high alert. Peering cautiously through the haze of pain, they locked eyes with the unexpected assailant.

It was Lute...

Lute's voice cut through the tension, sharp and accusatory.

"I knew it," she declared, her gaze piercing as she confronted (Y/N). "You're trailing Adam, aren't you? Did that courthouse speech and singing sway you to support the joke of redemption in Hell? Just what the hell are you trying to achieve?"
