"Aap Rehan lik di jiye," (Please write Rehan's name in her mehndi.) Khala said to the mehndi artist, before lovingly brushing her fingers through my hair. "If you need anything, I am only a call away." She reassured me, as she walked off to go look at the other guests, getting their mehndi done.

As soon as she was a good distance away, I said to the artist, "Just put an R, there is no need for the full name." I was still mad at what he did the other night. I hated the fact, that he thought that just because all this was going on, he had the right, to prove he had a right. Last night's behavior was way over my boundaries, and I had thought that I had set them perfectly clear for him.

The artist gave me a soft smile and nodded, obliging to what I had asked for, "This way it will be a lot harder for him to find his name." She thought I did it to make it harder for him when in reality,  everything about him was beginning to piss me off. Faking a smile, I let her return to her work.

Tejo came and sat down next to me, "Look," She showed off her mehndi, "Sohni aa?" (Does it look good?) She asked smiling at me.

"Sohni aa," (It looks good) I answered leaning against her for support, "I am so thirsty," I complained to her, "Amma had assigned Roza to be my waitress for tonight, but she just wandered off."

Tejo giggled, "I saw her chatting up Jannah Api, a few minutes ago as she got her own mehndi done."

"Great," I said sarcastically, "I really do want water," It felt as if my lungs were burning, "Amma kahan hai?" (Where is Amma?)

"Here," Rehan said, shoving a glass in my face surprising both of us. Glaring at him I pushed the glass away from me.

"Go call Amma," I demanded,

"Khala has assigned me to you because Roza decided to get her mehdni done." He replied, "So drink," He pushed it foreward again, so the glass was against my lips but I pushed it away.

"I'll stay thirsty." I snapped, "Just go away, that'll be a great help to me."

Rehan clenched his jaw slamming the glass down on the table infront of me, "Mahi,"

"Rehan," I said his name in the same tone as he said mine, challenging him infront of everyone. Let's see how he will get that glass of water down my throat without my permission, just like how he put Haldi on me last night.

"Okay!" Tejo said standing in between us, "What is going on?" A lot more than you think Nehmat and a lot more than I can tell you. Alizeh is here tonight, and I do not need drama.

"Your friend is being a pain in my ass." Rehan answered, "Tell her to drink the water."

"Jiju, she isnt in the mood to drink water." Tejo tried to take my side, "I'll call you over when she does."
