Rehan's P.O.V.

I gently moved some hair off of Mahi's face as I lay beside her watching her sleep. I hadn't slept all night, because I wanted to make sure, she was okay. Her body truly was burning up last night, I had felt it went we. . you know, got sexually active with one another, and after that, she broke down, due to the pain she was feeling. Thank god she told me she was a virgin before I could really do real damage to her, otherwise, I would have been ridden with guilt all my life that I had taken her virginity when she was not really capable of giving her full consent to me.  

Consent is a huge deal for me. As long as she was consenting with the touch that I was providing, or doing, everything was fine but the minute she told me something felt off about herself to her, I knew I had to stop, and so I did. The whole night, she wouldnt take a blanket, ask for water, and cold packs. . .even I had felt the weird burning sensation, but it wasn't as bad as hers. 

But what could have made her feel that much pain? I looked over at my alarm clock to check the time, it was 10:30 am. We had to go over to her house, for lunch, it was our first time going over there, as a married couple. I looked down at her again, after the night she had, I dont know if I even wanted to wake her up.  Gazing down at her I reach over to check her temperature once again, but then there is a sudden knock on our door. "Raaz! Mahi!" Amma banged on our door, "Jaldi utho nahi toh late ho jayega!" (We are going to be late, get up!)

"One second Amma," I said walking over to the door and stepping out shutting the door behind me.  "What's up?"

Amma furrowed her eyebrows, "Why are you not ready yet?" She asked 

"Um," I began, "Mahi wasn't feeling well last night," I told her, "Her whole body was burning up, so we spent the night just trying to help the sensation wash over."

Amma's gaze filled with worry, "Burning? What did she have last night?"

"I don't know." Her posture changed, making me suspicious about her, did she do something last night?  My own head hurt a lot, one from not being able to sleep, and two because of whatever was given to us last night. "I was burning up too," I added on, "But I could handle it, Mahi seemed like she was in pain."

Amma nodded, "Is she okay now?"

"Yeah, she is sleeping." I sighed, "I'll wake her up after I am dressed and ready."

"Okay, but hurry, let's not be late." 

"Got it," I said before turning back, and entering my room to see Mahi sitting up, holding her stomach, it looked as if she was about to throw up. "Mahi?" I rushed over to her side, "What's going on?"

Mahi held my hand tightly, "My stomach," She whimpered, "It hurts so bad."

"Do you want to go to the doctor?" I asked, "You haven't been feeling well since last night Mahi, and now your stomach hurts. Let's go to the doctor."

Mahi looked over at me shaking her head, "No," She whispered, "I'll be fine, do we have any advice?"

Quickly rushing into the bathroom, where I kept all the medicines,  I grab Advil and some water for her. and hand it over to her. Mahi took the pulls, and greedily drank the water. . it was as if her body. was starved for water even though I was a witness to how much water she had drunk in the past nine hours. "What time is it?" She asked quietly,  her face was so pale like she had just woken up from death. 

"10:30" I answered, panic filled her body. 

"Why didnt you wake me up?" She asked throwing the blanket off of her, and rushed to stand up,  but sat back down holding her head from dizziness. "We have to go home for lunch."
