Mahinoor's P.O.V.

"Nehmat is downstairs!" I yell to Rehan, as I rush to get all my material for school stuffed in my bag, and in my arms. "Khuda Haafiz," (Goodbye) I tell him, as I open the front door.

"Have fun at school," he yelled back, "Khuda Haafiz"  (Goodbye)

Smiling I quickly leave shutting the door behind me, and rush downstairs where Tejo is waiting for me. "Hey!" I say in a much better mood than I was yesterday.

Tejo smiled at me, "Good morning," she said as she began driving to school, "Someone is glowing. I am guessing all is good in marriage paradise once again."

Thankfully, "Yes, it is." I say smiling, "And I hope it stays like this too. I do not like fighting with him."

Tejo giggled, "Someone is starting to fall for her husband."

I look over at her surprised, "No." I say firmly, "I am just starting to get to properly know him Tejo. I think love is alittle far for now." I couldn't help myself. I told Tejo about our little agreement that Rehan and I had made. I needed to share it with some and I know I can trust Tejo. Roza would definitely blurt it out to Amma, which would not be helpful at all.

"Whatever you say," Tejo said teasingly, "Yesterday you were miserable, that Rehan wouldn't speak to you, and today now that everything has been cleared look at you glowing girl. There is something there definitely."

No, I wouldn't say there is and there couldn't be, I might have missed a detail out of the information I told Tejo. I didn't tell her about Alizeh, that would have been a bit too much for her to digest as well. So missing out on some minor details was necessary.

Tejo and I got to college on time and were quickly joined by one of her friends, she shared her apartment with Alaahi, whom she had introduced us to yesterday. I had tried looking for Ivy when I had gotten here, but she was nowhere to be seen, maybe she had a different class schedule than the. rest of us. I made a mental note to stop by her bakery, this afternoon to check in on her.

"So," Allie said dragging out the word, "How is the married world then?"

I shrug,  "It doesnt feel any different to when I was single."

"Oh come on,"  Allie said smirking at me, "I have seen your husband, it must be hard to keep your hands off of him."

A light blush took over my cheeks, Tejo had taken it upon herself Allie to show her a photo of Rehan. I cannot deny the obvious fact that Rehan is a very good-looking guy, but what I did not need is another girl drooling over him.  "Allie," I said trying to change the topic, "Stop."

Allie giggled, "So, is he good?" Her question caused me to choke on my drink, as I bent over coughing loudly. Tejo slapped my back, trying to help the liquid out of my air passage.

Tejo looked over at her, "Allie,"

"What?" She asked, "This is a normal question, girls ask girls. I can tell you about my boyfriend, and let me tell you-"

"Okay!" I interrupt her not wanting to hear about her sexual adventures,  "I do not need to know about your sex life, Allie."

She rolled her eyes at us, "You two are really immature,"

Immature, we shall be. I do not need to hear about her sex life, and I do not need to share the lack of sex or any intimacy I have in my life. Allie went into her English literature class, as Tejo and I went to our elective class,  which was art history. "She is really something," I said to Tejo.
