The Stray kids dorm never a place to be quiet was once again filled with chatters and excited murmurs from the boys as Minho and Jisung finally came out, telling the others their in a relationship for almost six months already. Seungmin, who was just coming downstairs intrigued by the noise walked in the living room, confused. 

"Whats with all the noise? Did I miss something?", he asked curiously. Waiting for an answer which he got from a very excited Felix. "Minnie! Minnie! You wont believe it! Minho and Jisung just told us their a couple!! Isnt that exciting?!" Said the freckled boy with shining eyes. Seungmins expression fell as he glanced at Minho, his heart breaking quietly, but he played it cool, smiling even though it didnt reached his eyes.

"Oh. Thats... thats amazing. Congratulations!" The brown haired boy said, walking away as no one looked in his direction anymore. He stopped shortly in the doorframe looking at the three couples: Hyunjin and Jeongin - Happy as ever. Changbin and Felix - two softies found each other. And now. Now also Minho and Jisung - two soulmates who found each other. Leaving him and their leader, Chan the only single ones.

Seungmin left. 

Unable to see the person he loved happy with someone else. And the worst part? Seungmin saw it coming. He saw how Minho looked at Jisung through the years, while never the same way at him. Sure him and Minho are close, but it could never reach the closeness he shared with Jisung. But he had hope. Hope that maybe Leeknow would be his not Jisungs. But what can he do now? Minho and Jisung are so in love thats it wrtten all over their faces. Its not a secret to everyone, not even the fans.

Leaving the dorm quietly to clear his head. To be alone. To realize the love he held for his Hyung, his first love will never be real. It was just an imagining in his mind, to have Minho to himself. 

Now you see, while Seungmin was struggling with his heartbreak, there was one person among all the couples who was so painfully in love with the puppy like boy. Everyone saw, everyone KNEW. Just not Seungmin himself, and that specific boy was none other than Chan. And seeing that expression of pain flash through Seungmins eyes for just a second made his own heart ache. Chan wasnt in the same situation as Seungmin, no, but he felt the pain the younger boy felt and it was killing him to see Seungmin like that.

But what can he do? Go after him and confess his feeling right after the boys heart got broken? No. No, that wasnt an option at all, Chan would wait. Wait unil the brown haired boy get over his heartbreak and than, than he would try his luck. After all, Chan knew how much Seungmin was crushing on Minho, and everything else apart from waiting felt so so wrong.

But life goes on no matter what pain or cruelty you went through. Over promotions, recordings and dance practice late in the night was no other time to sulk or cry over a broken heart. Seungmin knew, though he kept his distance from Minho and when he needed help with a step he asked Hyunjin or Felix instead, sometimes even Chan. And Chan, god Chan got all nervous and blushy that the others had to hold back their giggles, but no one pointed it out or teased him for it.

Days, weeks and months passed in which Seungmin found himself oddly clingy onto Chan, realizing how hardworking the eldest of them all were. How much Chan actually adores him, the small acts of comfort he started to seek from his Hyung, but he never questioned his own actions. his own need for his Hyung. All the while Minho, Changbin, Hyunjin, Jisung, Felix and Jeongin just watched with knowing smiles. And when they both left to get snacks and some soft drinks for the whole group, Minho gathered the other five boys in a small circle immediately having their attention.
