The whistle of a teapot rang through the home.

Macaque carried your tiny, sleepy body to the kitchen where a shadow clone poured the tea in a small sippy cup.

"I hope this works." Macaque mumbled as he grabbed the small bottle. "Come on, Sugarplum. Drink the magic tea please!"

Macaque brought the bottle close to your tiny mouth, but you pushed away. Macaque sighed. "Come on, Y/n. I need you to drink this for me. Please!" Macaque begged tiredly.

He brought the bottle close, again, only for you to push it away, again. Macaque groaned in defeat. The poor monkey was really tired. He stayed awake all night, each night you had a nightmare! And poor little you would have the same nightmare almost every night!

So, the last three days, he stayed awake 24/7 just to comfort you. His weariness was slowly starting to show. The first day, he'd just yawn every now and then. The second day, he'd stare at nothing at random times and start to nod off a little. Today, day three, he was less alert, could only do one clone at a time, and would accidentally stumble into stuff. In short, he was exhausted.

If his behavior didn't show it enough, then surely his appearance did. His fur was unkept and in messy tangles, his clothes were loose and sloppy, his glamour was dropped entirely, and there were big bags under his eyes.

Macaque held you close with one arm and the sippy cup in his other hand as he tried to think of another way to get you to drink the tea. The tea was a magical tea, and it was what you needed to become you again! He just needed you to drink it.

His sleep fatigue started to make his mind wander. It started with trying to figure out how to get you to drink the stupid magic stuff, then it wandered to random memories with past beings. An idea clicked in his groggy head. He smirked tiredly.

"Here comes the choo choo train! Choo! Choo!" He moved the bottle towards your mouth.

This time, your eyes sparkled in excitement and a big smile dawned your little, scarred face, as you happily accepted the bottle. You took a few sips then scrunched up your face in disgust. Macaque chuckled at your little face. You pushed the bottle away with disgust still clear on your face.

Macaque placed you on the ground for a moment so he could put the rest of the tea away to some place safer. As his back was turned, the magic took affect. You, now your normal age, blinked and looked around in a daze.

"Wh- what happened?" You asked.

Macaque froze in his work, then slowly turned to face you. When he saw you rubbing your face, as if to wake yourself up, he immediately stopped what he was doing and hugged you. His tail wagged happily as he hugged, and he whispered, "I missed you."

You tried to wrap your head around what happened as Macaque explained everything from his perspective. You would have asked him questions for more details, but you saw his appearance, and decided against it.

"You need to rest, Macaque." You stated softly.

Macaque hummed questioningly and tiredly, trying to process what you said in his tired mind. You giggled a little, then grabbed his arm and led him towards his bed. He was a little reluctant to sleep, because of everything that happened. But the second his head touched his pillow, he was out like a light.

You giggled quietly, and tucked him in. As you tucked him in, you noticed his six ears, and couldn't help but want to touch them. Carefully, you brushed your fingers against each ear. His head leaned into your touch and a purr escaped him as he slept.

You cooed over the sight. Then, reluctantly, you pulled away and started to leave the room to let him rest.  You left the room and started to check and treat your wounds, though there was mostly scarring left. Once you finished, you walked to your own bed and laid down.

You laid there in silence, waiting for sleep to come, but it didn't. You tossed and turned in bed, trying to get comfortable enough to fall asleep, but sleep wouldn't come. You sighed in defeat, and slowly sat up.

You were tired.

Your body was tired.

But sleep refused to come.

You hopped out of your bed and wandered around aimlessly. Hopefully sleep will come as you do something? Sounds like a good enough plan.

Soon, you came across Macaques door and peered in. He looked so peaceful as he slept! Surely it wouldn't hurt to cuddle with him, right? No. He needs sleep. If you tried to cuddle with him, there's no doubt that you'd wake him up.

You sighed, and continued to walk. You walked to the stage and decided to sweep and dust it. You worked swiftly and quietly, and soon, the stage was clean and free of dust and dirt.

You smiled at the work you'd done, then yawned. Perhaps now sleep would come? You walked back to your bed and laid down again. You waited with your eyes closed, but sleep refused to come. You groan as you tossed and turned. Why weren't you able to sleep!?

You swiftly sat up, grabbed your pillow and blanket, and walked towards Macaques room. You peered in and watched his sleeping form. 'Screw this!' you yelled at yourself mentally. You quietly snuck into the room, placed your pillow on the floor by his bed, and curled up there to sleep.

You waited there quietly and, slowly, sleep came. You sighed contently, and let sleep pull your consciousness away and to the world of dreams. But the dreams you had, were strange and unsettling. You dreamed of the previous battle against the Lady Bone Demon and of more.

You dreamed of this strange bundle of sticks, all dark with gold engravings, and a tall figure with a powerful sword. You dreamed of a voice warning about a curse on the sticks, and the sky split into a multicolor, sparkling mess of reality. You jerked awake when you dreamed of a giant monster yelling in Flower Fruit Mountain.

You looked around your surroundings and noticed you were now in a certain simians arms as he slept. His tail was wrapped around your waist, holding you close, as his arms wrapped caringly around your body. His head, with all six ears displayed, lay gently on your chest, rising and dropping with each breath you took.

You smiled at him, and gently brushed your fingers through his fur on his head. Every now and then, you couldn't help but gently finger his soft ears. The dark simian purred at your touch, and slowly, you fell back asleep.

(1151 words. Hi! I hope you enjoy! You got some more cute, cuddly monkey time! And you can probably guess what the dream was about! Anyways, I love you! And I hope you have a great day/night!❤️❤️❤️❤️)
