12:50 am

Mitch was at Jake's house, sitting on the couch with him as he finished his first glass of champagne for the night.
Mario had ended up joining them in on the fun and they were all having a great time.

Jake was finishing up telling them a story while they listened attentively. "So, I literally yelled at him out my window while in my car, stuck at a stop light. I mean, this daddy was hot."

"Slay," Mitch interrupted.

"Yeah," Jake continued, "I said, 'hey daddy, will you marry me?'"

Mario laughed. "I can't believe you did that! What did he do next?"

Jake blushed before he took another sip from his glass. "He flipped me off. And then I told him I'd love too."

Mitch covered his hand cutely over his mouth and laughed.
"Work, sis!"

Suddenly, Mitch's phone made a sound with Scott's alert tone.

Jake got up and walked to his kitchen to refill his glass. "Who's that?"

Mitch looked down at the text.

Scottie ;) : Hey, can you come home?...we really need to talk.

Mitch made a concerned face but quickly responded.

Mitchy <3 : Sure, daddy. Be there soon.

Mitch stood up from the couch after setting his glass down on the side table and picking up his bag off the floor.

"Sorry, babes. Apparently Scott needs me. Nothing new." Mitch rolled his eyes playfully with his tongue out as he smirked.

Jake quickly walked over to Mitch to hug him. "Okay! Bye, daddy."

Mario stood and hugged Mitch as well. "Bye, Mitchie. Get home safely. See ya, bud."

Mitch winked and gave a friendly peace sign on the way out the door. "Bye, babes."

---

Mitch got into his car and started it up before he drove down the highway. He sang softly to the radio as Ariana Grande played.

"This is the part when I break free...cuz I can't resist you no more."

He looked in the review mirror and saw that a car was following close behind him.
"Damn...you close enough?" He remarked sarcastically.

He sped up a little bit but saw it didn't make a difference. The car was still on his tail. Mitch looked in the review mirror again and sneered.
"If you wanted to ride my ass this much, at least give me your number, first."

He noticed the car started to turn it's high beams on and off suddenly.

What is going on?

Mitch turned on a side road, hoping to lose the person behind him. But sadly, he failed to do so.

The car turned it's high beams on and off again, almost blinding Mitch.

"What the hell?"

Mitch took a left on a different side road and the car did the same.
Mitch banged his hand on his steering wheel lightly.

"You've got to be fucking kidding me." He muttered under his breath.

What do they want? I don't want them to follow me all the way home and know where I live.. What if it's an obsessed fan?

Mitch finally decided to pull his car over to the side and see what this persons problem was.

And sure enough, the car pulled over behind him right when Mitch stepped out of the car.

"Is there a reason you're following me?" Mitch asked, trying his best to sound intimidating. He braced himself for who was about to come out of this car.

The car door quickly opened, and he was surprised to find that if was a nice looking younger women. Maybe in her late twenties.

She put her hands up in innocence. "I'm sorry, sir, I wasn't trying to scare you!"
She looked a little shook up.

"Then what's the problem?" Mitch asked sternly with his hands on his hips.

She pointed at his car. "There was a dark figure, what looked like a big man, crouched down behind your drivers seat. He was in the back seat and it looked like he had something in his hand like he was going to hurt you!.."

Mitch's eyes turned huge. Now he was as scared as the women.
"What?"

The women frantically nodded and pointed again at the car. "And I kept turning my high beams on every time he would kneel up and come close to you like he was going to hurt you. Every time the light was on him he got scared and crouched back down."

Mitch started shaking more and slowly moved his hand toward his back seat.

"Sir, don't! I think we should just call the police!"

Mitch blocked her out and made the quick decision to open the door of his back seat, quickly backing up, expecting something or someone to jump out at him.

"What the fuck?.." He whispered to himself in fear. Both him and the women got closer, and sure enough, there was nobody and no one found in the back seat.

"Wait, what's that?" The women pointed at something in the back seat of the car. It was something small and shiny.

"I don't know.." Mitch said as he got a closer look.

And sure enough, as he got closer, he saw what this "thing"
had in it's hand.

He spoke, barely above a whisper as his throat started to choke up.

"It's a knife."
