Kingsley stuck to his word and the very next day he went into the Ministry and went straight to the Record Keeper. He requested for all UK and Ireland cupids, giving the poor old man in the department barely any time to gather the information. In the meantime, Draco and Sloane enjoyed what left of their holidays together, carrying on like any other couple. It was the day of the ball and Hermione, Ginny, Luna and Sloane were all in the guest room on the second floor which had been converted into a get ready station for the girls with vanity tables, changing rooms, jewellery stands, large full length mirrors and even a snack bar.
Ginny was the first to enter the room, opening it and stepping in before jumping back and slamming the door closed. "Holy Merlin on a unicycle!" She gasped.
Hermione opened to mouth and then closed it in confusion. "I'm sorry what?"
"Someone pinch me," Ginny squeaked in delight as Luna stepped forward and nipped her in the arm. "Ouch!" She frowned. "Luna I wasn't being serious," she rolled her eyes.
"But you said to...I'm confused." Luna sighed.
"Is something wrong?" Draco asked as Ron, Blaise and Harry followed him upstairs. Ron was looking all around his as they walked, mesmerised by the sheer size of the house.
"This room," Ginny giggled. "It's....like something out of a dream."
Sloane smiled as Ginny opened the door again and they all entered. "This is what you dream about?" Blaise asked scrunching his face up. "This looks like a nightmare."
"Says the guy who hired a man to come and give us all hot towel treatments and shaves," Draco smirked. "Plus I know you had a manicure this morning."
Ron pressed his lips together to not laugh. "A manicure?"
Blaise simply shrugged. "It's called a MANicure," he argued. "And George, Percy and Charlie came with me. Bill had to work and Harry was visiting with Hermione's aunt."
Ron pouted. "What about me?"
Blaise gave a wink to Harry and turned to the red head. "Harry and I went to ask you but there were these strange noises coming from your room. Grunting and gasps and a lot of 'ohs'." He smirked. "You kept telling some on to 'take it' so we assumed you were cleaning your room?"
Ron paled as Luna burst out laughing. "Oh," Ron said shuffling and looking everywhere but at the group. "I was...em...playing chess."
"No you weren't," Luna said honestly believing he had forgotten. "That was when we were having sex. Don't you remember? We were in the reverse cow-"
Draco slapped his hand over Luna's mouth. "I love you cuz but if you finish that sentence I will vomit on you." Luna shrugged as Draco turned to Sloane leaning in slightly. "I feel sick...I could feel her...excitement just now. Is that the empath thing?"
Sloane nodded trying not to laugh. "Although I think everyone could feel it just now. Luna is not one to mince her words."
"All the better for us," Blaise laughed. "I swear I love to see Ron squirm."
Ginny checked her watch and gasped. "Oh balls it's already 11am." She clapped her hands together. "Alright lads, kindly fuck off so we can get ready. Christina said we had to be ready for 4pm so we don't have a lot of time."
"That's 5 hours Gin," Sloane sighed. "I could dress all of Hogwarts and slay a dragon in that space of time." She looked to Draco. "What time does Daphne and Theo get here?"
Draco looked to Blaise who looked a little lost. "The fuck am I supposed to know?"
"You were there when he said 12pm," Harry shook his head, smiling.
