By the time Theo knocked on the door to the room, Draco was sworn to secrecy and was off to another tutoring session with a group of 4th year boys. Daphne, was just about to leave as Sloane opened the door, to allow Theo and Sloane to talk.

"Hey honey," Theo smiled. "I thought your session would have been over ages ago," he said checking his watch. "It's been an hour and a half since you left to come down here."

Daphne blushed. "I know...I -"

"Swapped times with Pansy as she had a class to get to. Poor Daphne had to wait outside, so her session only started about 40 minutes ago. But it was great. Thank you for coming to see me Daphne. I really enjoy our time." Sloane beamed.

Daphne's shoulders relaxed. "Thank you again Sloane. For everything." She went to leave only Theo took her hand.

"Why don't you stay during my session?" he looked at Sloane. "Would that be alright? I am more than likely only going to talk about her anyway," he shrugged.

Sloane nodded looking at Daphne. "So long as Daphne is alright with it then I don't mind at all."

Daphne blushed. "Oh, well I... I mean...if you don't mind me listening in?"

Theo laughed. "I tell you all anyway so why not." Her took her hand and the two sat down and Daphne snuggled into Theo's side.

"Tea? Coffee? Pumpkin juice?" Sloane asked. She had to get the elves to offer something besides tea and coffee as she was drinking way too much of both. Daphne and Sloane both had juice while Theo had an extra strong coffee.

"I am going to admit that I am pretty clueless here," Theo said a little nervously. "I mean how do we start? Do we have to make boring small talk first or do I just talk"?

Sloane smiled. "Do you have something you want to talk about Theo? I mean we can do whatever you prefer. I will take your lead on this one."

Theo nodded and cleared his throat. "Well you know that we are having a baby. That Daph is pregnant?" Sloane nodded. "And we are both excited. I mean terrified but in a good way, does that make sense?"

"Of course it does," Sloane assured him. "This is a huge adventure you are starting, together."

"There is no one else in the world that I would rather experience this with. Daphne is my everything. I am so lucky that I finally plucked up the courage to ask her out," Daphne looked up at him in a dreamy state. Sloane wondered if she looked the same way at Draco. "But we have a bit of an issue."

"Oh?"

"Yeah my bloody mother. She is very...traditional in her beliefs. Believes a baby should only be conceived after the couple are married. She believes sex before marriage is a sin, and she was pretty horrified when we told her that Daphne was pregnant." Sloane nodded as he spoke. "Thankfully she loves Daphne and is delighted with our courtship so she soon got used to the idea. Or so I thought. She contacted me to tell me that she has arranged for Daph and I to get married over the holiday break."

"Really?" Sloane asked trying to sound surprised.

Theo nodded. "And she said she has it all arranged. That it will be a very small ceremony with just the two families and no reception and then when we get back to school, we can pretend we got married after the war, during the summer and tell everyone we found out about the baby over the Christmas holidays."

"So it would look simply like a husband and wife got pregnant, and it wasn't a baby conceived out of wedlock," Sloane summarised.

"Exactly!" Theo pouted. "I mean..." he looked to Daphne. "It's not very romantic is it?" he sighed. "Daph and I know we will be married. She is the one I want to spend my life with. But I want to have a story when our children ask us how we got together. I want there to be a sweet and romantic proposal and cute wedding. Not sneaking off at night to be married in secret." Daphne and he both sighed.
