Jerry turned to face the group and whispered. "Alright," he said in a hushed voice. "We know that they are in the room with the hourglass right Draco?"
Draco nodded. "That's where Hermione and Theo are being held."
"That's that door," Ron said pointing straight ahead. "I think."
"We will check them all," Colson explained.
"Now we know that there will be surprises waiting for us," Bill added. "Stick to your teams and if one gets injured, it's the other's responsibility to ensure he or she gets out and to safety."
"Don't be a bloody hero," Jerry growled. "We don't have time for that egotistical bullshit."
"No acting the hero," Ron nodded, although his voice was shaky.
"Alright, everyone ready?" Jerry called as several people answered 'yes'.
It was an interesting sight to see everyone break off into twos and threes, all standing by one of the doors. Draco knew Sloane was not with the other two. She had been separated, he had no idea where she would be, but he was on high alert.
"1...2...3...NOW!"
It was hectic and crazy and impossible for anyone else to focus on their friends, colleagues, teammates, or family. They barely had time to focus on themselves as everything happened so quickly. All the doors in the foyer were thrust open, and the guards with their wands raised, one person in the middle producing orbs to light the rooms up. Draco and Jerry were edging towards the door to the right. The one Draco was positive Sloane was now being held. Of course, it would be this room. Like a coming full circle moment.
The Auror Mackey and guard Phil were now standing at either side of the door with Draco, Jerry, and Colson standing shoulder to shoulder, Bill and Arthur Weasley behind them with their wands held high over everyone's heads. "Last time we formed a circle in the room and linked arms so that we were united and nothing or no one could sneak up on us," Draco whispered.
Jerry shrugged. "That's actually a damn good idea. When we get inside we stand in a circle our backs to each other so we have eyes on every part of the room. We know Sloane is on there Draco, but you can't run off to her until we have the room secured in case -"
Draco shook his head. "No in case. It's definitely a trap."
Jerry took a deep breath and then nodded to Colson who flicked his wand at the door. Not only did the door burst open, but it was hit with so much force it was blasted off the hinges. This was a solid oak door, very heavy and very sturdy and Draco watched as it flew across the room and disintegrated into nothing. He gave a gasp as they all pounced into the room and straight away stood next to each other. Draco didn't know whether he wanted to smile or cry at seeing Sloane. She was alive but she was injured. She had a deep cut on her cheek and she was chained up to the wall at the far corner of the room. Outside there were the distinct sounds of wands, fighting and crashing and smashing as well as shouts from the group. No one dared turn back to see what was going on.
A deep grumble could be heard from the shadows next to her, but it was almost impossible to see what it was. That wasn't the only strange noise. There was also a rasping noise. Like someone trying to take a breath, but their airways were blocked. The smell was enough to make Draco's eyes water. The sewage and dampness, along with mould and what smelt like rotting fish and decay were overpowering and next to Draco, Colson was trying his best not to gag.
"Sloane," Draco said softly as the group edged their way over towards where she was dangling. She had her eyes closed, her head hanging down, but he wasn't sure if she wasn't conscious. "Are you hurt?"
