"You all suck!" Bakugou slammed a stack of his class' latest tests on his desk as he stood from his chair. The wind from the motion sent multiple sheets of last night's homework flying off the desk. He didn't care. He'd find the homework later and if he didn't, oh well. The students probably deserved a zero anyway.

Several students flinched from his shout or the smack the stack of tests caused. He didn't care which, as long as they were scared. His slightly heeled boots clacked as he stalked to the front of his desk and leaned his butt on the top. It's a move he only did when he was disappointed with his students, which meant he did it often.

"I wish I could say I wasn't expecting this outcome, but I'm not surprised with your shitty grades. This was the easiest test I will give all year. As retribution for your lack of studying, tomorrow you'll run laps until you drop."

"But, Bakugou," Reo, Bakugou's highest scoring student, and Todoroki and Shinsou's adopted daughter, raised her hand, "aren't we supposed to learn about working with heroes we don't get along with during class tomorrow?"

"My name is Mr. Bakugou to you during school hours." Bakugou flipped Reo off, ignoring the scandalized gasps from his new students. He'd only been their teacher for two weeks. Eventually, they'd grow used to him and his idiosyncrasies, just like Reo did when she was younger. "We'll do whatever I say."

"But, Bakugou, we need to stay on schedule!" Reo exclaimed.

Bakugou groaned, tipping his head back and glaring at the ceiling. It wasn't fair. "I thought I'd be free from up-tight, stick-up-the-ass people once that Engine Fucker graduated and moved far away from me, but no, here your ass is!"

"That wasn't nice," Reo retorted.

"I am not listening to anything you say because you clearly don't have good judgment, considering you're dating that Engine Fucker's pitiful offspring."

Iida's daughter, Sora, waved at Bakugou from her desk tucked in the back corner, furthest from the door. Her sunglasses slid off the black beanie she threw on over her short, sloppily cut hair. The black bolt in her hair was almost impossible to notice with the length, but Bakugou knew it was there.

It was almost identical to the one her father had.

Reo quieted down after her almost-spat with her not-blood-related uncle turned teacher. She was used to the haunted look in Bakugou's eyes and knew when to back off and stop pushing him. Bakugou always got extra grumpy and that look took up residence at the same time every year. Reo didn't know what caused the change, but she never dared to ask.

At the end of class, Sora wrapped an arm around Reo's shoulders and leaned in close. She lowered her voice, although it did nothing because she couldn't whisper to save her life. "Is it just me, or is Mr. Bakugou more angry than usual?"

Reo shrugged. Despite growing up with Bakugou, she didn't know what happened in his past. She did know Bakugou used to be close friends with Sora's other dad, and no one had told Sora.
