A day in the shift

After Lucy finished moving all her belongings into her new apartment around 10 pm. She goes to sleep.
The next morning, she wakes up, gets dressed, brushes her teeth, and eats breakfast. At around 12 pm she goes into work. In roll call, She can't stop thinking about Tim. It's only weird because they hate each other, but she doesn't care. She wants Tim.
When roll call ends, Aaron pulls her out of her day dreaming.
Aaron: hey you ready to go out?
Lucy: yeah just give me a minute or two please.
Aaron: alright I'll meet you in the shop.
Lucy: you bet.
Lucy walks up to Tim, wanting to talk. But Tim pushes her away. So she just goes to the shop, upset.
After about 5 minutes driving around, Aaron notices something is bothering Lucy. So he asks,
"Hey, are you ok?"
Lucy: yeah sorry just went into a daze.
Aaron: ok then, I'm here if you want to talk.
Lucy: thanks.
They drive around for another 2 minutes then they spot a 2-11 at a Liquor store.
"7-Adam-7, 2-11 in progress, circus liquor, requesting additional units." Aaron says.
Lucy and Aaron get out of the shop and go towards the store, where they see a masked man holding the cashier at gunpoint.
"LAPD, put the gun down!"
The masked man was about to shoot Aaron, luckily the safety was still on, but Lucy was once again in a daze, luckily Aaron was quick to pull out his taser and quickly tased the man.
"7-Adam-7, Code 4, suspect is arrested, cancel additional units."Aaron said.
"Copy that, 7-Adam-7."
They take the man to booking, Lucy quickly books him in and they hit the street again.
"What the hell was that?" Aaron said in a pissed tone.
"What?" Lucy responds
"You were daydreaming again, you could have gotten me killed." Aaron told Lucy.
"Sorry, I just can't get something off my chest. It won't happen again."
"Alright Lucy what is going on?? You can talk to me and if you want me to keep it secret then I will."
"Ok then, but you promise you won't tell anyone?"
"I promise."
"I think I have feelings for Tim.."
Aaron looks kind of dumb founded, he can't tell if Lucy is being serious or not.
"Don't you guys likeee, hate each other?"
"Well yeah, but ever since I spent the month at his house, it's like all my negative feelings for him just went away."
"Well why don't you tell him how you feel?"
"Are you crazy? He still hates me, I could never tell him how I feel."
"Well why don't you first start by working things out, and once you've been friends for a bit then you can admit your feelings??"
"I guess.. idk I'll think about it"
The rest of the shift barely anything Happens, and they go back to the station around 9 pm so they can clock out.
"Alright we'll have a good night Lucy."
"You too Aaron"
Lucy goes home and takes a shower, eat dinner, brushes her teeth and goes to bed. She takes what Aaron told her to heart. And he's right.
Tomorrow, she's going to talk to Tim and try and befriend him so he no longer hates Lucy.
But tonight, tonight will be about sleeping.
