Front desk

Every day, for 2 days, Lucy would visit Aaron in the hospital, she would see Tim, too. If he wasn't in a coma.
She would check up on Tim once every few hours though. After 2 days, Aaron was released from the hospital, but wouldn't be back on patrol with Lucy until 5 more days.
Lucy: pleaseee promise me you'll be in front desk until I come back?
Aaron: What! I don't want to though! Can't I just pair up with Jackson, or Nolan instead?
Lucy gives Aaron puppy eyes and Aaron not able to resist, gives in to Lucy.
Aaron: Fineee I promise.
Lucy: yay thank you! Lucy hugs Aaron very tight.
Lucy goes back to her house as her little break hasn't ended yet.
Aaron goes to grey's office and request to be put on desk duty until Lucy comes back.
Aaron's desk duty is overall pretty boring, barely anyone comes in and whoever does seem to be pretty stupid or just in the wrong place.
Until on Aaron's 4th day, a man comes in.
Average high, skinny, black hair and beard, comes in and goes up to Aaron.
?: hey umm, I have a question upon prison time.
Aaron: Sure, what can I help you with?
?: likely, if I was too murder or assault someone, how much prison time would I get?
Aaron: well, it would depend on the seriousness of the injury/ brutality of the murder and if it's your first offense or not.
Aaron: Let me guess, first time out? Kind of hard getting used to the outside world. It's like very different than what it used to be, right? I know that feeling.
?: Yeah, umm something like that.
Suddenly out of basically nowhere, the man grabs a random woman in a yellow jacket, and points a revolver at her.
Aaron: Hey drop the weapon now!
Aaron points his gun at the man.
?: if I kill her, I go back in. The man said in an aggressive tone.
Aaron: you don't have to do this! You are definitely going back, I can promise you that.
?: Not for that long, I want to be in there forever, not for a couple of weeks or months. And I'm not looking to do small time.
Jackson comes in the room.
J: you're not going to shoot her.
?: try me, you won't have enough time to even jump, none of you. You won't get to me fast enough before I pull the trigger.
J: Yes I will, because your safety is still on.
And with that, Jackson leaps onto the man. Tackling him and saving the woman in time.
Aaron: holy shit!
J: what?
Aaron: this has no safety, dude you were so wrong!
J: I still managed to save her though, plus the man fell for it.
Aaron: I guess, well congrats on the save.
J: mhm thanks.
Aaron's ring tone is going off his phone, he pulls his phone out his pocket and answers, it's Lucy.
Lucy: Hey, I was wondering if you could clock out a bit earlier, like maybe 10 minutes early.
Aaron: why?
Lucy: it's Tim, he's awake.
