12 pm, when it's time for Lucy to clock in, she goes and speaks with Tim in his office.
Lucy: hey Tim?
Tim: yeah?
Lucy: look, I'm sorry I kissed you back at dinner, and making you feel uncomfortable while it was just supposed to be friendly talk. And I hope you can forgive me and we can go back to how our relationship was before.
Tim: ..it'll take some time, Chen.
It'll take some time for our relationship to heal, but yeah. I forgive you.
Lucy: thank you. Lucy says in a big smile.
Lucy goes out of his office and gets dressed up into her uniform for the day to start.
Roll call goes by quick, like it does and meets with Aaron.
Aaron: Hey good afternoon Lucy.
Lucy: to you too Aaron, you ready to go out?
Aaron: yeah for sure!
About 2 minutes out into their shift, Aaron starts a conversation.
Aaron: So umm.. have you apologized with Tim yet?
Lucy: yeah, umm just this morning. Why?
Aaron: No reason. I'm just asking.
Lucy: oh well alright.
Aaron: yeah, umm... do you think you're ready to become a U.C?
Lucy: Maybe, idk yet.. I've been studying for the last 7 or 8 months. Can't really remember.
Aaron: oh well that's good, if you want my opinion I would say you're more than ready. I mean, you've already been on more than 2 U.C missions, and I gotta say.. you kicked ass.
Lucy: wow thanks Aaron, I really needed that. I've been stressing so fucking much lately about it.
Aaron: you're welcome. I mean, that's what I'm here for, right?
Lucy giggles.
They continue on with their shift, with getting more felony's than misdemeanors, so it was a pretty decent shift.
At 3 pm, Lucy and Aaron decide to have lunch at a nearby food truck.
Aaron orders tacos and Lucy orders a regular combo meal which includes fries with a burger.
After they eat their meals they head out again, only this time Aaron gets a word from his C.I about a drug operation.
Aaron heads to the location and sees two trucks fully loaded with boxes.
Aaron: "7-Adam-7, requesting 6 additional units to my location for help with a mini-drug operation, and send airship."
Copy that, 7-Adam-7, units and airship in route.
Aaron and Lucy get out of the shop, with their weapons loaded ready for a fight.
Lucy: we should wait for backup, I mean these guys are loaded, there's absolutely no way we're winning this by ourselves.
Aaron hesitates for a second, but gives in and agrees.
But one of their lookouts spot them.
"Hey, cops!"
The men immediately start shooting.
Aaron gets shot in his arm, luckily nothing threatening.he needs to treat It, but he doesn't have any time to.
Then a split second later, backup arrives.
