30 minutes after they all leave, Rachael comes in.
T: hey baby
R: hey umm, I need you talk to you. About something that I have been debating.
T: yeah sure, tell me what's wrong.
R: I got accepted into my dream job.
T: Heyy that's great! You should take it, dreams jobs only come once.
R: it's in New York.
They sit in silence for a few, but then Tim disturbs.
T: well you should take it, dream jobs only come once, right?
R: yeah, but the question is, if I took this job, would you come with me?
Another silence erupted in the room.
T: idk rach, i would have to start over again over there, work my way up again.
T: can we talk through this over dinner?
R: umm yeah sure, but later and that's it.
T: ok, love you.
R: love you too
Rachael leaves Tim by himself while Tim is there thinking about what Rachael talked out.
5 am comes by and Tim wakes up, he changes into his clean clothes and checks out with the nurse. Tim goes back to his home and stay there until 11:30 am until he goes into work a bit earlier.
Aaron and Tim run into each other at the station.
Aaron: Hey sir, good to have you back.
Tim: Thorsen.
And then Tim walks off.
"He's in a mood" Aaron thinks to himself.
Anyways, roll call goes by pretty fast, then Lucy and Aaron hit the street, but before they go out, Lucy has to talk to Tim.
Lucy: Hey you mind giving me a few?
Aaron: no just hurry I want to go back out.
Lucy: alright, I'm gonna talk to Tim.
Lucy goes to Tim's office and enters.
Lucy: Heyy, are we still on for tonight?
Tim: um yeah about that, can we reschedule? Something came up and I'm not able to right now. Maybe in a day or two, if that's ok?
Lucy: yeah, no problem. Just let me know when and what time.
Tim: for sure.
Lucy walks out of Tim's office, disappointed. But she also understands, I mean Tim just got out of the hospital.
Lucy and Aaron go out on patrol, and nothing happens for the most part, a few misdemeanors and a bit more of felony's, but nothing too extreme.
Finally, 8 pm hits, and it's time to clock out.
Aaron: hey, are you going out with Tim?
Lucy: no he ended up canceling to take care of some personal business.
Aaron: alright well, do you want to come to my house? We can watch movies and I'll order in?
Lucy: yeah sure, I could use something to keep my mind busy.
Aaron: alright.
Meanwhile with Tim, he is taking Rachael to dinner.
R: nice place
T: yeah, the food here is good.
T: listen Rachael, I have something to talk to you about. And it's about your new job.
I don't want to move all the way away from everyone I know and start again just for this job. And I'm sorry but I don't want to move over there. And...
Tim is silent for a bit then spills it all puts
T: I want to break up Rachael, long distance relationships never work, so we might as well break up now instead of trying to make it work because we both know it won't.
Rachael is shocked with Tim, she didn't expect him to react this way. But ultimately without saying a word, and gets up and leaves.
T: I'm sorry.
Rachael looks at Tim in disbelief, then walks back to her car.
Tim tells the cook to keep his food and pays for it since it was already cooked, then goes back to his house and spends the night drinking a bit then going to sleep.
