Dinner with a friend

The next morning, Tim wakes up with a hangover, but still goes in to work and makes the best out of the situation.
Meanwhile, Lucy and Aaron ended up sleeping on the couch, Aaron on one side and Lucy on the other.
Lucy: shit, we slept in.
Aaron: yeah we did, I'll make breakfast and you do you.
Lucy: make or order?
Aaron: Order??
Lucy giggles.
Lucy: of course, anyways is it ok if I shower real quick?
Aaron, yeah guest bathroom is down the hallway on your left.
Lucy: thanks.
Lucy takes a shower while Aaron orders in breakfast from a nearby breakfast place. (McDonald's)
Lucy gets out of the shower after 20 minutes and goes to sit down so she can eat her breakfast.
Hash-browns with pancakes and eggs.
They both finish their meal and Lucy looks at the time.
Lucy: Shit! It's 11:50 hurry up let's go!
They both get in their cars and drive as fast as they can without getting a ticket or felony to the station.
They make it in time for roll call and after Lucy goes to Tim's office.
Lucy: Heyy did you take care of your business?
T: yeah I did
Lucy: are we still on?
T: yeah, does 9pm today work?
L: yeah it does
T: great, see you then.
Lucy walks out of Tim's office and goes out on patrol which felt forever but eventually ended, she went to her house and quickly showered and dresses up and went out.
Tim texts her and sends the location for the food truck they are meeting at.
Lucy arrives and greets Tim.
Lucy: Heyy you look good.
T: to you back
They order their food and chat about their life. What they like to do, their hobbies, and overall their living style.
At last, they get into personal stuff, like who are they dating.
Lucy: are you and Rachael still good??
T: umm actually..
We broke up yesterday.
Lucy: oh um sorry to heart that.
T: it's alright.
They stare at each other for a split second, then Lucy goes in for the kiss.
T: Lucy...
What the fuck?
Lucy: what? Were you not feeling the moment?
T: Lucy, there wasn't supposed to be a "moment". Why did you do it?
Lucy: I'm sorry. Lucy said in an awkward voice.
T: umm I gotta go.
Tim walks back to his truck and leaves Lucy there, sobbing.
Lucy heads to Aaron so hopefully she can set her mind to something else.
Aaron opens up and sees Lucy, who had obviously been crying.
Aaron: Hey, what's wrong??
Lucy: I messed up Aaron..
Aaron: things didn't go accordingly with Tim? I suppose?
Lucy: yeah..
Aaron: sorry to hear that. Luce. If you want to stay here, maybe we can't watch a movie or do something. To get your mind off that.
Lucy: yeah please I would appreciate it.
A beer also, if you have any?
Aaron: yeah, sure.
They both drink a lot and watch crime shows. Eventually drifting off.
