After very overwhelming thinking, me and Aaron shoot back at them, whilst they're distracted, me and Aaron make a run for it, eventually a random tenant opening the door for us. I go in first while Aaron is carrying an injured Angela. The old lady that opened the door for us immediately went into her bathroom in hopes of finding medical supplies.
She managed to find some old supplies and Aaron used that to treat Angela, while I was still looking out the peephole.
The shooters still haven't managed to find us, so after we treat Angela Aaron radios for help.
"7-Adam-07, requesting additional units at my location for a mob of shooters inside of a complex. Send backup and SWAT."
Now we just wait for backup in here, but when I'm not paying attention Aaron slips out.
L: Aaron, No not yet! We have to wait for backup!
Aaron ignores me and goes outside of the apartment, having to leave Angela inside and asking the old lady to take care of her while I go after my partner.
I see Aaron at the end of the hallway, standing there. Not even moving. When I call out to him, he turns around. Bleeding.
A stab wound on his lower right. And what looks like a mark around his arm. I can't make out what it is, but that doesn't matter right now. I tell Aaron to go back inside to treat himself. He refuses.
A: I have to find Celina.
L: we can do that later Aaron! We're outnumbered we could never!
A: it's worth giving it a shot!
If you don't want to come with me then I'm fine with that! But I'm going.
Aaron takes off to the first floor, to try and find out where Celina is. I go after him, behind him without him knowing. On the first floor, after I manage to get behind him, once I turn around to look at the hallway, he's holding someone at gun point. Must be a shooter. There both talk in to each other, and the next second the shooter is making Aaron follow him. Where could they be going? I followed sneakily behind them. Making sure not to be noticed by them or any shooters. Then they stop in front of a door, seems like it's going downstairs because I can see stairs through the crack as it's not fully closed. As I look up again, Aaron knocks out the shooter, so I make my approach.
L: Hey! What was that?
A: huh? Oh, he was showing me where the basement to here.
L: why?
A: you'll see in a few.
after me and Aaron go in quietly, I now understand why we are here.
Because down the stairs there are many shooters. And there she was.
