I stare at him, instead of talking. And then it transitions into an awkward "staring" competition.
Finally Tim breaks the silence and says,
"So are you going to tell me or?"
L: oh, yeah umm..
I'm sorry.
T: for..?
L: really Tim? You know what for.
T: fine, it's not really a big deal, but it was awkward. That's all this it was.
Look Lucy, right now.. I don't see you and me being a "thing". Not right now.
L: "Not right now"? So you do like me back?
T: no, i didn't say that, it's just that the same day you kissed me, that was the day Rachael broke up with me.
L: oh I didn't know. I'm sorry.
T: it's fine, really. But for right now, dating isn't too big for me. Maybe in the future I'll get back into it. And who knows? Maybe I'll give you a chance, or not. But not right now.
L: I understand.
T: I'm glad you do.
L: well, that's all I had to say, I'm gonna go now.
T: alright then. But Lucy?
L: what?
T: maybe in the future.
Lucy walks out of Tim's office, thinking about what time meant about "maybe in the future". She thinks she knows, but still isn't 100% sure.

The next morning, Lucy wakes up from he sleep. Happier than ever. The words that Tim has said touched her heart. Especially that maybe Tim would give her a chance. Later on. Lucy gets up and does whatever she needs to do before she goes in for work. She goes in an clocks in for shift, greeting Jackson and Celina on her way in. Tim is already in his office and Aaron is already in the locker room. She goes in the locker room herself to change into her uniform. Then goes out and hangs out in the break room with a snack and coffee until roll call.
Grey starts off with welcoming Aaron back from the apartment, and his break. Overall, after roll call ends cause just like every shift, there is always almost never any news. Shift goes by, but we take the easy calls, mostly cause I feel like it. Lunch break comes, and I sit with Celina, who is sitting by herself.
L: hey Celina, how's training going so far now?
C: a bit better, ma'am. For some reason, Aaron is going a bit easier on me now. Do you know why that is?
L: oh I don't know, maybe you should talk to him about that. But if it helps, I'll try and ask him about it, see if he will spill it.
C: thank you ma'am. I appreciate that.
L: no problem, and Celina. If you have any more questions or concerns, feel free to ask me.
C: thank you.
Me and Jackson head out again on shift, which goes as usual. So we decide to clock out. While Jackson immediately leaves after clocking out and taking off his uniform, I stay at the station. To talk to Aaron. To make things right.
