middle and high school milestones
teenage milestones
life milestones
she was always there
she did it all with me
she was there for every night spent crying in the basement
every morning spent preparing to pretend
every afternoon spent avoiding the kitchen
she was always there
she did it all with me
in her own twisted, tortuous way, she got me through it
she got me through everything
it was me and her against the world and
i liked those odds
that's why i felt so empty when she left
even though i was finally full for the first time in five years
