Long time no see

C H A P T E R ~ 4

Navy Brook Routledge

I had now been back on the island for about a week and everything was amazing.

I was back with my twin brother and my best friends. And I couldn't be happier.

When I went away for a year I stayed in a beach hut in Miami. Don't get me wrong it was absolutely gorgeous but I missed home. A lot. And it wasn't the same.

Yeah the surf was amazing but it just felt wrong if you know what I mean.

Me and the group were all currently on our way to a building on the main land that was getting built and decided to check it out. It was Kies idea actually as it used to be a turtle habitat but as Kie always says after she found out about it "who cares about the turtles I guess".

Once we pulled up we all got out of the Twinkie and decided to head inside.

Is this trespassing? Yes. Do we care? Absolutely not.

We headed round the back and inside the building before making our way to a balcony out top.

"Damn this view is gorgeous" Sarah said as she looked out at the ocean. "Meh I've seen better" JJ said whilst climbing up some scaffolding and taking a seat. "Oh yeah like what then JJ. Care to elaborate?" Sarah questioned the boy. "No thanks ama keep that to myself" he shrugged. "Whatever" Sarah said as she went to find Kie inside of the house.

"Hey navy bring us up a beer would you" John B said as he climbed onto the roof. "Fine" I replied whilst getting him a beer and climbing up the scaffolding and towards my brother. "There you go" I said handing it over to him. "Thanks sis" "anytime bro".

I then went and sat down next to JJ on his right before saying "he's an idiot if he thinks he won't either A drop the beer or B kill himself" "now that we can agree on" he replied before pulling my legs up onto his lap whilst I rested my back against the building.

"Yo John B what would you do if I shot you right now"
"Oh your gunna shoot me Pope. With a drill"
"I wouldn't be complaining"
"Navy we all know you would"
"Shut up asshat" and he held his hands up in defense.

"Dude don't spill that beer. I'm not giving you another" JJ said whilst taking a sip of his own before I snatched it out of his hands and taking a swig myself.

"Dude what the fuck get your own"
"Nah that's to much effort"
"Sure" he replied rolling his eyes and snatching back the beer.

"Can you please not kill yourself man" Kie said walking out the house with Sarah and looking up at the brown haired boy. "Yeah I already saved your ass once and I'm not doing it again" Sarah said.

Just as John B was about to speak up he wobbled and dropped his can.

"Of course you did. Just as I told you..." JJ started but was cut off by Pope who said "hey erm guys security's here let's roll"

Me and JJ gave each other a mischievous grin before jumping down from our seats and running to have a look.

"Hey Gary good to see you bro" JJ shouted to the officer. "Yo Gary long time no see bro" I shouted at him. "Navy, JJ get down here" Gary shouted up to us.
