Long time no see

C H A P T E R ~ 6

Navy Brook Routledge

Me and the girls had decided to have a girls day to get away from the boys.

We were currently on our way into town to get some lunch and go shopping for new swimsuits.

"Oh oh Navy pull up here this place does amazing food and coffee" Sarah said excitedly. "On it girl" I replied before pulling up into the parking lot.

We then made our way into this cute little coffee shop and found a booth at the back.

The waiter then came to take our order but I noticed he kept looking at me the whole time. Even when he went to the back I could see him staring at me.

Our food then came out and I got an iced coffee and this chicken sandwich, which was delicious.

"Sarah you weren't wrong when you said they do amazing food" Kie exclaimed whilst taking a bite of her food. "I know right it's so good" Sarah replied shoving food into her mouth causing us all to laugh.

Once we were finished the waiter came over to take our plates but said "you new around here? Haven't seen you before" whilst looking directly at me. "Erm no I grew up here but left a year ago and came back a few weeks ago" I replied furrowing my brows a little at the boy.

"Right, anyways I'm Miles Shoup. Nice to meet you"
"Navy Routledge" I replied shaking the boys hand. "And this is Kiara and Sarah" I said introducing my friends.

"Wait wait are you related to John B by any chance?" He questioned. His smile dropping from his face as soon as he came to the realization.

"Yeah he's my twin brother. Is there a problem with that Shoup"
"No no problem at all just the fact he's a trashy pogue" he replied rolling his eyes.

"Oh and what? You're not a trashy stuck up Kook who has to work because daddy won't give him any money?" I replied whilst standing up and getting into his face.

"Nay leave it" Sarah pleased. "Yeah cmon girl let's go" Kie said standing up and gabbing my hand and leaving some money on the table for the food and drink.

"That's it go run back to dad. Oh wait I forgot he's dead" the boy laughed. And I saw red.

I ran to the boy causing Kie to lose her grip on my hand and punched him in the face. Blood was now dripping out of his nose and mouth.

"What the fuck" he shouted. "Keep mine and my family name out of your pathetic mouth Shoup" I said looking straight at the boy who was now holding his nose.

Just then we heard police sirens down the road. "Navy now" Kie said dragging me out of the caffe.

Once we were in the car driving down the road I heard Sarah say from behind me "girl what was that all about"

"No one talks about my family S. Especially not some stuck up Kook" I replied before turning a corner and noticing a dark skinned girl running away from some police. "Hold up she's new and looks like she needs some help. Hang on" I said before speeding down the road to the girl.

I drove next to her before shouting to her "jump in" to which she nodded and followed by jumping in the car behind Kie.

"Thank you so much you don't understand how much I appreciate it girl" the dark skinned girl said. "No problem, we get that show on a daily ourselves" I replied and looking back at the girl smiling.
