On the crisp morning of Christmas, amidst the exchange of gifts between Mitsuya, Chifuyu, Emma (who received a delicate necklace from Kol), Hinata, Naoto, Smiley, Takemichi, and Kol himself, Amalie found herself contemplating a spontaneous visit to Wakasa. He had slipped out earlier to attend to his gym, leaving the festive chaos behind.
Stepping into the gym, Amalie scanned the room until she spotted Wakasa standing by a shelf. With her bag clutched tightly, she made her way over to him.
" Wakasa !". She called out, her voice echoing in the quiet gym.
Wakasa turned, a flicker of surprise crossing his face," Lili, what brings you here ?".
" We didn't get the chance to give you your Christmas gift before you left". Amalie explained, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
Wakasa's lazy smile appeared," You could have waited for me to return later tonight".
Amalie shrugged, a mischievous glint in her eyes," Kol suggested that, but I just couldn't wait. Also, our parents sent something for us since they couldn't be here today".
Digging into her bag, she pulled out a small package and handed it to Wakasa, who accepted it with curiosity.
" Open it". She urged, a grin spreading across her face.
With a nod, Wakasa carefully unwrapped the gift, his eyes widening as he revealed a gleaming silver bracelet nestled inside.
" I saw it the other day and thought it would suit you perfectly. Do you like it ?". Amalie asked eagerly, holding her breath.
" Of course, it's stunning. Thank you, Lili. I'll treasure it". Wakasa replied, a warm smile spreading across his face as he gently patted her head.
Amalie beamed, her heart swelling with happiness at Wakasa's reaction. However, their tender moment was suddenly interrupted by a voice from behind.
" Hey, Wakasa. I can't find the... Oh, who's this ?". A girl's voice interrupted.
Turning around, Amalie was greeted by a girl with light pink hair," Hi, I'm Amalie. And you are ?".
" Oh, right ! Wakasa mentioned you. I met your brother a few days ago. I'm Senju". The girl replied with a friendly smile.
Amalie nodded, remembering," Ah, I recall him mentioning someone wanted to meet me... but he couldn't remember your name".
Senju's lips twitched into a pout," I told him, though".
" Don't worry about it; Kol can be a dumbass. But I'm glad to finally meet you". Amalie reassured her.
Senju grinned," Likewise. You're just as kind and sweet as Wakasa described !".
" Of course she is. She's my sister". Wakasa chimed in with a hint of pride.
Amalie chuckled softly," Thanks. Well, I still have a couple more gifts to give. Hopefully, we'll run into each other again, Senju".
" Definitely ! Feel free to drop by anytime. I'm here often, and we can catch up". Senju suggested warmly.
" Sounds like a plan. Oh, and Wakasa, Kol and I will be running late tonight. He mentioned he'll leave your gift on the table". Amalie added before turning to leave.
Wakasa nodded understandingly," Just be careful, you two".
Amalie stuck out her tongue playfully," You know us".
With that, she left the gym, determined to find Draken at their agreed meeting spot. However, she realized she still hadn't contacted Mikey to give him his gift, and with the afternoon slipping away, she couldn't afford to be late for her rendezvous with Chifuyu, Kisaki, Hanma, Kol, and Takemichi.
