(Note, this all takes place in the afterlife)

Cranefly

"You had ONE JOB." His master, Destiny, ranted. "What was your one job Cranefly?!"

"To check on the girl while her orb was missing." He replied.

"That's right! To check on the girl! Not leave her in the Poison Jungle!" She continued.

"She passed out, ma'am." He whispered.

"BECAUSE YOU LET HER TRY TO TOUCH YOU AND HER HAND WENT RIGHT THROUGH YOURS." Destiny roared.

"Sister, calm down." Cranefly's other master, Death, appeared from the shadows. "Just because I'm winning with this girl's fate doesn't mean you have to berate your best agent."

Destiny grabbed her sister by the horn. "If you so much as lay a CLAW on that girl-"

"I know, I know, she's got a 'destiny' that needs fulfilling."

"Death-" Destiny warned her.

"So, punishments for Cranefly?" Death suggested.

Destiny looked at her in suspicion. "I thought you didn't want him to be punished." She growled.

"Correction. I don't like you berating him. Punishment sounds like a good idea." She smiled.

Destiny snorted and turned to the red hivewing. "Because of your disobedience, you will become this girl's permanent guardian spirit. Keep her away from my demon sister," She looked over at Death, who scowled. "And lead her to her destiny. Now go." She finished sternly.

Death

She watched the hivewing scuttle out, and chuckled. "You know, I have just as much control over him as you do, seeing as I brought him here." She said.

Destiny scowled. "I know, you killed him and brought him as a servant, I don't need the recap."

"Don't expect to keep all the new toys away from me for much longer." She smiled, holding up an orb.

"And why's that?' Destiny replied stubbornly.

"Because while you weave a destiny for someone," She said, peering into the orb, which showed a dark blue seawing. "I cut away at the strings tying them to life."

"Not Kraken." Destiny seethed. "The dragonets are mine."

"Not for much longer." Death sang.
