Orphaned

Little did many at Jade Mountain know, the storm was worse elsewhere.

In a small cove, a purple dragonet cried herself to sleep. Her cave was flooding, making a tall ledge the only safe spot.

It'll be fine, Tanza. The last words her mother had said to her. Tanzanite let out a small sob, and curled her wings closer to herself.

Thunder was roaring outside, and occasionally, a wave would reach up and drench her.

She was alone.

Totally.

Completely.

Alone-

"Hello?"

Fatespeaker

Squid wanted to see her? Squid? Wanted to? The world must be collapsing.

She'd been on relatively good terms with Ochre, and Flame (good as in they'd nod if they saw her) but Squid. She'd hardly even SEEN him after Morrowseer had sent him away. (Although Tsunami had ran into him a few times...you can imagine how that went)

"Starflight," She said, and he looked up from a scroll. "I have to go deal with something, I'll be back soon."

He gave her a smile and nodded, before turning back to his work.

"Let me THROUGH!" A dragon outside growled, and Squid burst into the library. There was an awkward silence.

"Squid." Fatespeaker said quietly.

That was when the seawing she'd known since she was a dragonet, burst into tears.

And what's worse... they were vengeful tears.
