Eucalyptus

"IF YOU DROP ME I WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU!" He screamed up at the hivewing carrying him.

"Relax! I am an EXPERT at carrying!" She exclaimed.

"I doubt that!" He muttered.
LOOK DO YOU SEE IT, EUCALYPTUS LOOK UP QUICK THERE IT IS DO YOU SEE IT FAINTLY?!" She flew faster.

"Oh come on- The bridge is DONE Bumblebee!"

"So?" She asked.

"So put me on the bridge and let's run there!" He called up.

"FLYING'S FASTER!" She yelled, readjusting her grip on him.

"REALLY, IT'S NOT!"

Belionta

She couldn't even LOOK OUT A WINDOW ANYMORE WITHOUT SEEING HIM.

What was his DEAL?! She peeked out the window again, and there he was, staring at her from across the yard.

You know what, I'm done with this. I'm gonna go out there and give him a piece of my mind. She decided, leaving her room.

She stormed across the yard, and straightened herself to her full height.

"Why are you stalking me?" She asked sharply.

"Am not." He replied, and grinned.

"Are to!" She cried.

"Am not." He sang, skipping around her.

"Then what are you doing?" She demanded.

"Protecting." He put his talon to his chest. "I swore."

"To who? And why do I need protection?" She asked, startled by his answer.

"I doubt you need it. My mistress, however, disagrees." He replied.

"And who's your mistress?" She pried.

"Destiny... and Death." He said solemnly.

"Who names their dragonets that?" She stifled her laugh.

"No. You don't get it." He took her talon, despite her protests. "They are actually Death and Destiny. I come from the underworld, where they are princesses."

She pulled her talon back, and took a step back. "You are a creepy ghost dragon." She said in shock. "I'm talking... to a ghost. Wait, how'd you just grab me?!"

"Ghosts can touch stuff. Nothing can try to touch us and succeed." He snickered.

She blinked. "So you swore... to protect ME?" She asked curiously. "Why me? My cousin Sunburst needs it more. She's VERY accident prone."

"We have someone guarding her, don't worry. And...Well uh..." He blushed. "Doesn't matter!" He barked, and disappeared.

"HEY!" She yelled, reaching out to where he'd been. Nothing. "YOU OWE ME ANSWERS CRANEFLY!"

Treefrog

Like scheduled, she went to the tunnel. Heartstopper was already there.

"Hi!" She greeted Treefrog.

"Hi. So, explain to me."

Heartstopper sighed. "There's two things my mother hates the most. Rainwings, and Deathbringer. And you're a product of both, right?" She asked.

"Yes," Treefrog confirmed. "How'd you know?"

"Deathbringer wouldn't train just anyone. I had a suspicion."

"So... Why's your mother hate my parents?" She asked.

"Well, my mother is named Execution, and she, at one point, had a brother and cousin. Her cousin, Slaughter, was uh... killed by Deathbringer. And her brother, Vengeance, his face was ruined by a rainwing, and Deathbringer got him killed, basically."

"Oh. Oh dear..." Treefrog mumbled.

"I gotta go. If... if you come back I'll tell you more." Heartstopper suggested.

"Sure. Bye." Treefrog smiled, and flew off.

Execution

In the shadows, the huge nightwing lay flat listening to her daughter and the princess.

Oh poor Heartstopper. Don't worry, I'll pretend I don't know for a little while longer. The information you gather from her will be useful for me...
