Chapter 45

Zyleith's POV

                      "Save them at all costs"

We are going to Manila, with Richard who's driving, I'm sitting next to him while Meg and Margot were in the backseats. There's only one car following behind us with few body guards sent by my Dad, Richard said it would be very noticeable if there were many of them following us and the enemy will definitely follow us that will lead more chaos and he has a point.

While we're on our way, Meg and I just talking eye to eye in the front mirror every time we both glance on it, how can she be so gorgeous without even doing anything??? freaking gorgeous.

I couldn't understand what Richard was saying when I caught a glimpse of Margot, she's quiet the whole time but she looked like she's worried or something's bothering her.

I don't know if it's just in my mind but I noticed that there's something strange about her, she's acting strange before we left the hotel, I accidentally caught her talking to someone on the phone and she looked worried and scared but when I asked her, she said that it was just nothing and she's fine.

Something is off about Margot.

"And then I--hey what's wrong?" Richard pulled back my senses by patting my shoulder.

"Nothing, I just can't help but worry about this damn situation, Chad" I replied and let out a deep sigh.

"I hope this will end soonest" I added.

"Don't think about it too much, it will only make you paranoid. Everything will be alright, Solenn" He said positively as I nodded.

"By the way, I didn't expect that beautiful lady behind us will be with us again but in this very unexpected and bad situation" He added while smiling widely, he's talking about Meg.

I kinda hate how he glance at her with his annoying smile, I hate it.

"Everything is unpredictable" I said in a serious tone.

"Right, I thought it'll take a long time to see her again--I mean to see you guys again haha" I immediately looked at him at what he said, I don't know but I'm a bit annoyed.

"Don't tell me you really have a crush on her? or you really like her?" I said in disbelief with my brows furrowed.

"Why not? I mean look at her, she's so beautiful and she's very nice, I might date her if she's single" He said confidently while grinning like crazy.

I'm annoyed for real right now, I want to kick his ass out of this car.

"Are you serious? oh but it doesn't matter, she's in a relationship already anyway" I said calmly even tho I'm really annoyed.

I badly want to tell him about me and Meg right now but this is not the right time, wrong timing.

His facial expression is not that surprised, it's like he knows.

"And who's that lucky guy then? or lady?" I was a bit surprised at his last word.

So he really knows something? this monkey.

"What do you mean? I don't--" I got cut off when Margot coughed. A fake cough.

"What are you two whispering over there? you are like bees gossiping there guys, care to share with us?" Margot said sassily as Chad chuckled, while I glanced at Meg and there's a trace of curiosity in her face.

"It's nothing, just random stuff haha" He said while chuckling.

"By the way, you ladies are hungry? let's stop at nearby restaurant, I hope there is a gas station nearby too" He added.
