"Mamakhe." A tear rolled down my cheek. "Mamakhe, listen..."
"I'm standing here with your baby, and you're more concerned about her?"
"Yes! Do you have a problem with that!?"
"Of course I do!" Before she could continue, he shut the door in her face.
"I swear I didn't know. I thought she had the abortion this whole time. I swear I didn't know."

She started banging on the door, and the baby started crying. I couldn't take it. "Just let her in. It's fine." I wiped my tears. He looked at MaKhumalo. "If MaBhengu is fine with it, then it's okay. Let's see what she wants." He opened the door, and she started to yell. "Shut up! Shut the fuck up! If you want to come to this house I won't allow you to bring chaos with you. So shut up and calm down."
"Baby? Since when do you speak to me like this?" I just rolled my eyes and left to go sit in the living room.

"Is the food here?" Gogo asked. "No but Senzo's whore is."
"Huh!" She almost spilled her tea and as she got up they came into the room. "What is going on?"
"Meet Senzo's mistress and her abortion." Gogo was shocked into silence. "You are so disrespectful."
"Being my husband's whore on the side is disrespectful." Everyone was shocked into silence.

"Okay, can we just sit and talk like civil human beings please. Everyone just stop insulting each other." Senzo said. "She was insulting me."
"The only words I want to hear from you is an explanation!" She rolled her eyes, but everyone took a seat, and she started talking. "Look, I thought I could do it, but I couldn't. I didn't want to give my baby up, and I wasn't going to let some random woman raise her. So I lied and said I had an abortion. That's the start and end of it."
"So why are you here?" Gogo asked. "I'm here to take what's mine. Baby, I'm ready to be number six."

Gogo laughed out loud. I couldn't believe this woman. What kind of person do you have to be to throw yourself at someone's husband in front of them and knowing senzo he would fall for this shit and all of us would just have to go with it. I'm so tired of this circus.

"You must think I'm some brainless fool?" Huh? What did he say. "Baby? What do you mean?"
"You really think I would marry you? Hell would have to freeze over before I do that. You sit here and explain one of the most painful experiences my wife and I have had as if it was just a normal day. You're sick."
"Baby... I..."
"I really don't want to hear it. Please leave. You'll hear from my lawyer." She looked like a fish out of water. She tried forming words, but nothing came out. "MaKhumalo phone security." She stood up and left.

"Senzo, let me tell you something now! This thing of sleeping around stops now! It stops now! You have five wives. Five! If I ever hear about anything like this happening ever again, I'll cut your penis off myself!" Gogo said and slapped him. "Ouch!"
"Say something else! I dare you! Make another sound!" She slapped him one more time and left the room. I got up too and waddled towards our bedroom.

"Mamakhe." He came in. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." I shook my head. "It's fine. It wasn't your fault." He sighed. "It was. If I didn't sleep with her, none of this would've happened." I didn't know what to do. I just started crying. "It's just so unfair. Why does she get to have a baby, and I don't? Why does MaCele get to have children? Why MaMlambo and MaGumede but not me? They've done horrible things. Why do they get to be mothers?"

I took a nap after balling my eyes out. Crying and pain seemed to be the only constant in my life. I guess this is how it's going to be. I was starving so I went to the kitchen. Gogo and MaKhumalo were there with notepads and calculators. "What are you doing?" They seemed surprised to see me. "We thought you were sleeping."
"I'm up. What's going on. The two of you look suspicious." They gave each other a weird look. "Just tell her."
"She didn't even look at the baby once. She won't believe us."
"Just tell me."

"Okay." MaKhumalo said after a while. "Gogo and I were trying to work out how old the baby should be. We got her old scan and medical documents she gave Baba and I have a private investigater on her trail."
"What? Why?" I was so confused. "MaBhengu according to our calculations the baby should be about four months old. That baby is too big for four months." I shrugged. "So. She might just be a big baby." MaKhumalo sighed. "Yes but the baby was sitting up on its own and drinking from a sippy cup. Which four month old can drink from a sippy cup?" Wait a damn minute. "MaKhumalo what are you saying?" I knew but I needed her to say it. "That is not Baba's child. There's just no way. Abdctge child doesn't ecen look lije Baba or any oc tge orger children." I was so confused. "In her voice notes to Baba she said she had a major modeling contract in London that she couldn't be pregnant for. I searched for it online and found that she was fired because she was a pain to work with. She's being canceled online and probably wont be booked for a modeling job again. I'm pretty sure she came back here to trick Baba into marrying her." I didn't know what to say. I just blinked.
