Before she could shoot, a high pitch tone incapacitated the Reapers, and stunned Astrid too. The Reapers and Astrid dropped everything to cover their ears from the ear-splitting noise. She hadn't heard Grounders round the corner, dressed in Trikru regalia. Once she saw them tie up the Reapers, she knew it was safe to remove her hands over her ears.

"Astrid." She turned her head to meet Octavia, holding the tone deafener in her hand. Astrid picked herself up off ground and engulfed her in a hug. "The Grounders said you saved them."

"I saved who I could. There are still more." Shame sank deep in Astrid's shoulders as she pulled away, but still held onto her arms to steady herself against the fading adrenaline. "Mountain Men came. I need to go back and get the rest out."

"Come with us. Lexa and Clarke are going to break down the door and get the rest of our people. Grounders and the 47 from the drop ship." Octavia gave a hopeful offer, but Astrid knew better. If she went back, she would be endangering the lives of everybody. Who knew if the people from the drop ship were still alive?

"I can't." She shook her head at her friend. "If Heda knows I'm here, she'll kill me. I belong to Skaikru or Azgeda no longer."

"After this, she will pardon everything." She spoke with a heavy heart, holding Astrid's arms in her hand. Even Octavia could feel the slight quivers from Astrid's fatigued body. Astrid offered a half smile in return, but still shook her head.

"No. She won't."

"Winwolfa is right." A voice said as she emerged from the shadows. "Lexa might let her live, but her position would be a threat to Heda's throne. She will be banished."

"You can make her listen, Indra." Indra, Trikru's commander. Almost as ruthless and vicious as Azgeda. Almost as vicious as Roan. A small piece of her spirit lifted knowing he wasn't in there. Knowing he would never experience the pain and suffered that lied within the Mountain. Although, what a righteous memory it would be unlocking his cage. The look on his face would be enough blackmail for decades.

"You..." Astrid started as she neared Indra on shaky step, "You sent me to Azgeda."

This was news to Octavia as she turned to her leader with wide eyes. She tried to find words to speak but was quickly cut off by the sound of a horn. They all whipped their heads towards the exit of the tunnels.

"We're retreating." Indra observed as she looked at Octavia with a small remark of confusion. Octavia mimicked the same reaction.

"That can't be right." Octavia said beside Astrid. She could feel the girl's panic radiating off her.

"We have to go. Now." Indra commanded before Octavia stopped her.

"Indra, wait. They're still in there."

Indra barked back at her impatiently, "And our Commander's out there under attack for all we know."

"I don't trust her. Not after Tondc. Neither should you." Obviously, there were still many events Astrid had yet to learn about. Though, she found it a bit remarkable how, as much as she tried not to get involved, she always learned about the events of the Sky People.

"I gave you a direct order." Indra didn't falter at Octavia's plea. Though, she still pushed to stay.

"Please, this was the plan. If we're not here with the tone generators when they come out-"

"Plans change." Indra shut her down again. Astrid was beginning to feel bad for Octavia, but this was not her battle to fight. In fact, she should have gotten the hell out a long time ago. The longer she stayed, the greater the risk that the Commander would know she was here. Or the Mountain Men would throw her back in that cage. The latter thought made her stomach churn.
