Freya kept near the shadows, watching from above the embassy at Polis. Lexa was sitting amongst her throne, talking with Indra about her recent information. While they were scouting on their own mission for Wanheda with some people from Arkadia, they stumbled across a warband of Azgeda, heading straight for Polis.

Freya knew well what this would mean. Roan would surely be coming to Polis to exchange Clarke for his freedom. He may have been arrogant, but he surely wasn't stupid. Though the Queen and her army; that would be a completely different agenda Freya couldn't quite settle on. Intimidation, battle, or some other underlying plot the wicked Queen developed.

Roan burst through the double doors to the throne room with his hooded captive, whom she already knew was Clarke. Even though Lexa shared the information about their agreement last night, she still struggled kept the even keeled and expressionless face as Freya. Now was not the time to expose herself, especially with Roan standing feet away.

"Wanheda, as promised." Roan stalked to the throne, pushing Clarke to her knees. With a quick tug, he removed the burlap sack over her head.

Lexa shot up from her throne, looking down at the petrified woman in front of her. "Hello, Clarke." As Lexa took strides towards her, she scolded Roan, "I told you to bring her unharmed."

"She didn't come easy." Lexa nodded once with understanding.

"I expect not."

"I've done my part. Now do yours." Freya was thrilled to know Roan was just as impatient as ever. Even to his Commander.

"I'm told your mother's army marches on Polis."

"That has nothing to do with me."

"But the Winwolfa's disappearance did." Thank the Gods the mask was covering her face, for she bit her lip in anticipation.

Roan hesitated; breath visibly caught in his chest. His eyes flitted to the ground, guilt plastering his face as he offered no words before Lexa spoke again. "I offered Azgeda a deal. As long as they kept Winwolfa within their territory, then you were allowed to keep your precious messiah. That was your responsibility. Your failure."

"That has nothing to do with Wanheda. Honor our deal." Astrid wasn't surprised he pushed past the topic. Although, she didn't expect it was such a touchy subject for him.

"I'll honor our deal when your Queen honors my coalition." Lexa spoke as a true ruler, down to the final word. "Lock Prince Roan of Azgeda away."

As the guards pushed Roan past Freya, she lowered her eyes. If he caught a glimpse of who's eyes they truly belonged to, it would start an uproar. After all, Astrid was supposed to be missing, not playing assassin.

"Shadow Stalker," Lexa's voice appeared to boom to nobody in particular. Freya straightened her back at attention but remained looming along that upper level. "You are to remain in Polis until I give further command.

Freya nodded once, then slipped back through the back entrance into the halls of the Capitol building.

During the few hours in the day, Astrid returned to her normal self and slept in the small corridors Lexa provided. It was a cramped room, but with all the weapons and equipment Lexa provided, it only made matters worse. Though, Astrid never minded the surplus of books stacked along the walls. In the little down time she had, she loved flipping through those pages on ancient lore of the old world.

During the night and when the Commander provided a task for her, she morphed back into Freya. Only in the privacy of Astrid's room did the Commander use her real name, but as soon as she stepped outside of that room, she was Freya again. Astrid was gone now.
