The next day, Charlotte found John and gave him the cookies that she had made for him, "The Charlotte special. Guarantee to make your mood ten times better," Charlotte told him and she didn't even get crack of a smile from him.
"Thanks Charlie." John said, taking the box from her.
"You know you can talk to any of us right? You don't have to go through this alone," Charlotte told the man who just nodded.
"I know. Sorry I think I forgot something in the lockers," John said walking away from her leaving her confused.

Charlotte stood by her T.O. who looked like he hadn't gotten any sleep since the last time she saw him. Sergeant Grey was explaining what was about to go down, "So, according to Carson, Vance is most likely located at a warehouse facility in South Gate at this address. Alright, Detective Wolfe and Vestri will stake it out with patrol units from that division, while you guys will head over to Bronson Estate where Carson says Vance's girlfriend, Cesiah Olvio, lives."
"But Carson doesn't know which apartment she lives in, so we'll have to do some knocking on doors." Wolfe told the group.
"All right, listen up. This has the potential of being a very dangerous operation. Vance is a heavy hitter. He has a well-armed crew. So he won't go down easy. All right, watch each other's backs out there, and be careful.
Nathan and Charlotte exited the room, "I need to talk to you about something Charlotte," Nathan said, pulling his rookie to the side.
"What's up?" Charlotte asked, raising an eye wondering what he was going to say.
"This is a dangerous operation. We got to have each other's backs. I need to apologize with how I was yesterday. My home life shouldn't interfere with work life and I'm sorry about that."
"Uh, wow. Thank you for apologizing. Are you going to tell me what's wrong? Or leave me in the dark?" Charlotte asked.
"A small argument with my wife then last night she told me we're having another kid," Nathan told her.
"Congrats Officer Price." Charlotte said with a small smile on her face.
"Come on, you still need to get our stuff," Nathan told her. "Oh, Charlie, thanks for those cookies you left me this morning."
"Of course."

Nathan and Charlotte walked up with Bishop, Angela and Jackson to where Tim and Lucy were. "You know why they call this place the Bronson Estates?" Bradford asked.
"'Cause a guy named Bronson built it?"
"No. Back when you were in short pants, there was a movie called 'Death Wish.' Starrted Charles Bronson," Angela explained.
"Yeah. for a long time, responding to a call here meant that you had a death wish," Nathan stated.
"But it's better now, right?" Jackson asked.
"It's no longer the wild, wild west. Lots of low-income families live here. But it never hurts to be cautious," Angela answered.
Lucy went over to get something out of the shop causing Jackson and Charlotte to follow her, "Hey. What happened at Nolan's last night?" Jackson asked as Charlotte had learned that there was a man found dead on John's property last night.
"How should I know?" Lucy asked defensively.
"Thought you might have talked to him. Is there more to the story we haven't heard?" Jackson asked.
