"Thanks for letting me crash your breakfast with your team," Charlotte told her father as she was getting her plate of food.
"Of course. I heard you had a date last week?" Bobby asked, causing Charlotte to look up and laugh slightly.
"How did you–"
"Jackson may have reached out telling me about it," Bobby replied.
"Oh, I'm gonna kill him. Actually, I'm not gonna make him anything the rest of this week!" Charlotte exclaimed.
Bobby laughed as he grabbed his own plate and the two walked over to the table where the other members of the 118 were. "Who were you gonna kill?" Chimney asked, overhearing the two.
"Jackson, he told my dad I went on a date last week." Charlotte replied.
"Shut up!" "No way!" "Who went on a date?" Hen, Chimney and Buck all said at the same time.
"I went on a date Buck. I do have a life outside of work believe it or not," Charlotte exclaimed.
"How did you meet this so-called date?" Hen asked.
"Well, I accidentally bumped into him at this rooftop restaurant I was at with my friends. Well we were only there for a few minutes because our Sergeant Grey decided to kick us out after seeing the four of us–" Charlotte said.
"Is he cute?" Hen asked invested already.
"Super cute. And he's from Texas. He's actually going through the Firefighter academy right now," Charlotte said, glancing over at her dad who smiled.
"Wow! A firefighter?" Chimney exclaimed. "If you wanted a firefighter you could have gone on this website–"
"Not the website," Buck groaned out.
"What website?" Charlotte asked, noticing her father was frowning slightly.
"RomacningTheUniform.com! Your dad here actually just made a page the other day," Chimney exclaimed.
Charlotte raised her eyes at this, "Oh? I didn't know you were gonna get back out there," Charlotte said.
"I was just going to try it," Bobby said scratching the back of his head.
"I helped him set up his profile, cause it was not it," Buck exclaimed with a mouthful of egg in his mouth.
Charlotte shook her head as Bobby looked at his daughter, noticing her reaction to that, "You okay with me dating again?"
"Yeah, yeah, you should be with someone dad," Charlotte said with a sad smile on her face.
Hen raised her eye knowing Charlotte was not okay and made a note to ask her about it later. Charlotte's phone rang and she excused herself seeing it was Wesley, "hey Wes. What's up?" Charlotte asked.
"Oh nothing, just checking up with my favorite rookie to see how she's doing," Wesley said just as the alarm went off signaling the 118 to quickly take a last bite of their food. "What's that?"
"You sure you're okay with me dating again?" Bobby asked, walking up to her.
"Hold on Wes..." Charlotte told her friend. "Yeah. I mean it's gonna be hard but I'll get over it. You should be with someone that means the world to you," Charlotte told him.
Bobby was about to say something when Charlotte told him he needed to go be a hero. "What was that all about?" Wesley asked once she was alone in the firehouse.
"My father is gonna try to date again..."
