4.5 million years ago an astral body the size of Mars slammed into the Earth. The debris that flew from our planet became stuck in Earth's gravity and formed our moon. That's right. The moon is just a part of the Earth, separated forever, always drawn back towards us, longing to reconnect.
It is said to increase fertility, create chaos and cause people to do things they would never normally do. No one knows why things get so weird when the moon is full, and why it makes people act so crazy. All we know is that in this job, the one night you need to be ready for anything is a night when the moon is full.

Charlotte wasn't thrilled that her and Athena had the night shift on the full moon night. She had missed a lot that day at the station like how Lucy had to go to the hospital to make sure there wasn't anything in a needle that had pricked her and the fact that the Vice President of the United States made an unexpected visit to Los Angeles.
Jackson had left a note on their counter with a fresh cup of coffee that said, "good luck night shift"
Charlotte shook her head and wished Jackson was up currently but saw his lights were off and headed downstairs where Athena was waiting for her and made a mental note to buy a car sometime in the future.

Their first call was to a house in a quieter part of the city. "Wonder why dispatch called in paramedics," Charlotte muttered as she saw Hen and Chimney getting their bags from the ambulance.
"Don't know." Athena said as she got out of the shop as did Charlotte. "They called you for a prowler?"
"Homeowner has a heart condition," Hen explained.
"Well, you two are traveling a little light," Charlotte commented, noticing the rest of the 118 wasn't with them.
"Yeah, a full moon. Only way to survive is divide and conquer," Chimney said as the four began to walk towards the house.
"Hmm, I believe it's your enemy you're supposed to divide, not yourself," Athena said causing Charlotte to laugh slightly. "All right, we're gonna check around back," Athena said motioning for Charlotte to follow.
Charlotte and Athena went around back and the two shined their flashlights around and searched to see if the person who had been outside the woman's property was still there. Charlotte heard a noise coming from the bushes and shined a light quickly. She breathed a sigh of relief whenever a bunny rabbit hopped out and hopped across the lawn. "You find anything?" Athena asked.
"If you call a bunny rabbit dangerous, then no I haven't," Charlotte said.
The two walked inside the woman's house and saw the older woman sitting down on the chair in the living room. "Ma'am, I'm Sergeant Grant and this is Officer Nash. If there was someone outside, they're gone now." Athena told the woman.
"Thank you–" Nora said, thanking the two.
"'Thena, Charlie," Hen said.
"Yeah?" Charlotte asked as Hen motioned for the two to come over to her.
Once they were close to Hen she said, "Does it look to you like anybody had been outside?" Hen whispered to the two.
"No. I mean, the ground's wet. Didn't see any footprints," Athena told her.
"I did," Hen muttered.
"You did?" Charlotte asked and looked down noticing the muddy footprints on the carpet as well as the wood floor.
"She says that she was standing pretty much right over here," Hen told the two as they followed her to the location Nora said she was standing.
Athena and Charlotte looked towards the window and saw their reflections along with Hen's in the window. "He was in the house," Charlotte whispered.
