Charlotte walked beside Lucy as they followed Harper and Angela into a room. Charlotte looked to her side and saw a sign for speed dating, "Oh, uh, this is a joke, right?" Lucy asked.

"Yeah, I'm perfectly dating a guy that I love," Charlotte told the two.

"You were right. I have never gone on a date with a serial killer, and you have." Harper told Lucy.

"And that would make anyone question their judgment."

"Yeah, sure, but uh, this is–" Lucy began to say before Harper stopped her from finishing her sentence.

"But nothing. Look, you can never truly know that you are fine until you know that you can trust your judgment again. So, we're here, in this controlled environment with zero stakes, so you can meet and evaluate a succession of men." Harper explained.

"If you can call them 'men.'" Angela commented, causing Charlotte to shake her head.

"So, why am I here? Since you know, the whole happily dating thing," Charlotte questioned looking at Harper.

"For moral support of course," Angela told Charlotte with a small smirk on her face.

"Look, I appreciate what you're trying to do here. And actually, it's fairly psychologically sound, but this– this is unnecessary!" Lucy exclaimed.

"It's true," Charlotte added.

"Well, it'll just be a great story for tomorrow. And something you can talk to Eddie about tonight," Harper told the two.

"You are not gonna take no for an answer, are you?" Lucy said sighing.

"I am just really committed to getting you to say 'yes.'"

Lucy looked over at Charlotte who had come to terms with this whole thing and shrugged causing Lucy to shake her head, "Okay. Fine. Yes."

"Great. We will be sitting over there, having just some BYO..." Angela said, taking out a flask from her pocket and taking a drink of it.

"Uh, oh, no. If I'm doing this, so are you guys. Can't have a control study without independent data. Otherwise how will I know that my judgment is sound?" Lucy asked the two.

"She's got a point..." Harper told Angela.

"Don't make me pull the buried alive card." Lucy added.

"Screw it. I'm in." Angela said caving in.

"I can't believe Eddie was okay with this," Charlotte said to Angela.

"Wesley may have left this part of the night out," Angela said.

Charlotte's eyes widened, "Wait, what?!"

Angela smirked at Charlotte as Harper asked Lucy, "You ready?"

"Uh– Can I?" Lucy asked, motioning towards Angela's flask. Angela gratefully handed the flask over to Lucy. Lucy took a fast swig of the liquor inside and said, "Mm. Thanks. Okay, let's do this."

Charlotte sat in front of the first guy who was just talking about himself causing Charlotte to die of boredom wishing the timer would go off already. As it did, Charlotte was relieved when the next guy sat down in front of her, "Just letting you know, I'm here for my friend. And I'm happily dating someone," Charlotte told the guy.

"No way, I was just about to say I was dating someone and I was here for my friend too!"

Charlotte and the second guy who had sat down in front of her chatted the entire time about how they were dragged into this.
