I felt like spending my holiday with Kingston and the boys was something I'd become accustomed to. I had a few days left here, yet I was sad to let go of them.

Molly had her fun, especially with Marcello. He was quite the troublemaker, I swore they were seconds away from ripping their clothes off. It honestly horrified me with the thought of walking in on them.

Townes was tame, she wasn't fully comfortable with them but didn't let it bother her vacation. I'd offered several times for us to evacuate and jump ship. But she refused because I was happy, something she claimed hadn't been seen in a while.

We hadn't heard from the boys today so it seemed it would be just us. But I could tell the tensions were high, questions needing to be answered. But I didn't want to dig too deep, they were people we vacationed with and one day would forget. Maybe even an anecdote to a story.

"So" Her voice trails behind me and as I look across from me at the restaurant Townes looks more serious. Today we went sightseeing followed by lunch, it had been tense.

"So?" I replied, using the spoon next to my cappuccino to stir it like a psychopath. She watched as it moved around, leaving us in silence.

"Are we not going to discuss the guns?" Molly mumbled not so quietly gaining both of our attention. That's what Townes was getting at.

"You saw the gun?" Molly looked left to right and then back at me.

"I saw the sniper on the back deck too" Townes eyes widened and then looked at me. She looked like she could go three shades of purple or vomit.

"So there's guns, that doesn't mean he's a bad guy. Let's not jump to conclusions, when I met Townes she had a tattoo on her wrist, I didn't doc you for that?" A look on Townes's face reflected a dislike of my words, a real dislike, "Oh come on, I love your tattoo but my parents put in my brain I was meant to hate them!"

"Fine" She rolls her eyes, but she understands, "But you know tattoos are well, no way linked to guns or the level of guns?" She was right and I was only making things worse.

"Have they harmed us?" Molly counters, "I mean yes they have guns but they have yet to use them. Maybe it really is just for some protection."

"They had guards?" Townes Cappuccino now made noise, which was due to her spoon dinging the sides in next, "I'm just saying it's... odd" Her eyes shifted to Molly who looked down at the table. But I knew she agreed.

"Alright it's odd" I admit it, but I liked them, and I didn't want us to stop hanging out. They were the slice of joy I was seeking, a distraction. Well, my friends were distracting, and another party didn't help.

"I say we don't let it bother us too much, it's just some fun. They are our vacation buddies" Vivian stood under the yellow umbrella that the table was tucked under.

"She returns from the bathroom, we thought you died in there?" Molly teased her and in return, Vivian opened her back to reveal it full of tampons.

"I did actually" Sighing she takes her seat beside me once more and lifts the lemonade to her lips. It was too minty for my liking so I hadn't touched mine. Molly said I was acting as if it were a Mojito, she's been on my case today.
